Reasonable? Apparently you already have made up your mind that it will be an '[...] inflamatory, hatefull [sic] movie', whereas you even state no one has seen it yet. So it is a bit hypocritical to say such a thing. And the fact that you are afraid that 'some crazy muslim [will] kill him' already points out a problem with said group when it comes to accepting critique. That was just the punch-line to a very well written paragraph, stop knee-jerking.

Indeed. When comparing materials based on the maximum tensile stress (pulling), knowing the thickness is about as useful as knowing what the tester had for breakfast. Stress is defined as {force}/{cross-sectional area}.

Remember the wealth of knowledge and insight that is "The Matrix": atmosphere is not a definition, it is a word used to describe a physical phenomenon.

We could use the distance at which the density of the atmosphere matches the density of the interplanetary medium or the maximum height of airplane engines, or the Van Allen belt where we define the everything inside as "atmosphere" and everything outside as solar wind / interplanetary medium.
Even for everything lower then LEO there are varying definitions.

The only use for the word is as a shortcut for some particular phenomenon in which you are interested at the time.
