How did those machines help typical business or science users with mainframe or mini computer? A few hundred thousand line COBOL or ForTran program wouldn't fit in those things....
Guess again, the IBM System Unit 5271 (commonly called the 3270 PC) was PC XT with card it in to hook to mainframe and emulate 3270 was *introduced* by IBM in October of 1983.
The University I attended still had punched cards for the Honeywell mainframe in 1983, they finally got terminals the next year.
no, FIPS does not meet the approval of those who deal in securing communications, it has dubious/poor security protocols included. that's why the OpenBSD team threw it out of LibreSSL. Past time to get rid of symbolism over substance in the realm of security.
is not political when project which has focused on securing communication and servers and have proven track record are ponying up and actually *doing the work*. you're the one making political nonsense.
No, we have Progressive Liberal administration in power, yet they are also big corporation butt-lickers and continue the Bush/Cheney agenda. More proof your Republican vs. Democrat view is very naive.
Yes but those not performances. Live as Aspen show was talkshow/interview format with (very hilarious) reminiscing, not a perfermance except for the gag with the urn. Almost the Truth had interviews with them
1989 really was the end of Monty Python, some partial reunions since then, some interviews....but if more than three or four members performed something together since then I don't recall it. They were already 45 years and older then, and all went on to other things. 20 years for a comedy group is a good run.
I'm thinking of a much much cheaper alternative to this printing machine for connecting components. It would have flexible copper center covered with rubber or plastic insulator, I'm thinking a lot of the stuff could be wound around a cylindrical holder. Maybe we could call these things electron-pipes or electro-threads and sell it by the unit length.
I'll have to check those out on the drive home
Large city police departments are already pushing back at FBI for their lagging technical crypto requirements.

no, people would be distracted trying to make their phone work while driving
I have a very strong suspicion any normal home PC could emulate what these chips done by 15 year old fab tech can, faster
nonsense, there are legal ways to digitally represent all the documents you mentioned. the world is moving on beyond physical documents
sounds like gay rat talk. your place or his?
why...does an ACTOR ........get ....a NASA award?
you know of a world with a billion astronomers!? we don't have to search at all.

error of location a couple hundred kilometers off or more is possible with complex thermocline conditions
and poontang is everywhere
you have no viable point, professional programmer title also doesn't prove you can competently write in a signle language either.

yes I suspect a natural gas source as the root cause of yours and mom's problems. a change in diet probably will set things right

no, poseurs will quote certain well known passages without understanding
you've been duped
in their undergrad days, yes
a comp-sci grad student has already done that
better to design a few types of languages and build compilers for them
nonsense, good books about OS and language design, compiler theory, algorithms, information theory: those are good for decades.
