    you are just behind, in the past it was revelation that u.s. was spying on its own citizens that had the US medias' attention. this week it is not spying, but rather the manner of spying that is the rage. it is one thing to data-gather, it is another thing to put bugs in your allies' offices. that is something one normally does to enemies. we are treating our allies as enemies, that is the problem. they don't like that.

    you are confused. this is not about intelligence gathering in the usual sense, this is about bugging offices and treating supposed allies as "cold war enemies"

    sure more people benefit than are harmed, but you made silly statement about "non-issues". there are indeed issues, another being that in the real world vaccine don't always work, and sometimes are made of the wrong strain of virus. vaccines have all manner of issues.

    are you confused, maybe thinking about xen desktop? that's useful for normal business apps....if you're trying to do heavy duty rendering with the "thin client" model that's your problem

    I use windows XP for doing taxes and running vmware vcenter client for admin of machines remotely.

    plenty of tooling, scientific and engineering machines use XP for controller.

    you'd wind up with "hitler's brother" who'd grow up with different experiences and beliefs.

    identical twins are not even identical biologically, for example they have different fingerprints.

    non-issue? people die and are sickened from vaccines (allergic reactions, bad batch of not totally deactivated virus, etc.)....but that's ok with you until your child flops over dead, right?

    when I was younger it was thought "cosmic rays" were photons higher in frequency than gamma rays....but they're protons and sometimes other nuclei with fearsome energy, some even beyond the few TeV we can make in particle accelerators. Some even get through the Earth's magnetic field which protects us. For example, the NoVA neutrino detector is under 350 feet of earth, but some cosmic rays go through the detector (and are used for calibration). that's some energetic stuff

    interesting the high number of eye cataracts that 39 of the astronauts had; also the three cancer/tumor deaths.

    dose for a lunar mission was something like 0.015 sievert on average, but random events could make that much higher. one apollo mission missed a solar flare by one week, that would have killed them.
