    the limiting factors on a nuke plants resistance to earthquakes mainly has to do with "plumbing", breaking pipes.

    Note the buildings holding three new generators at Fukushima Diachi were fine and could have saved the day except their switchyard was in poor location that flooded

    get with the times, pal. the catalytic converter turns most of the CO into CO2. As some farmers have found out, CO2 in high concentration is maiming or lethal, the carbonic acid will make your lungs bleed.

    in Ubuntu or Linux Mint or Debian, get the prerequisites
    sudo apt-get install libyaml-dev ncurses-dev libreadline-dev bison libgdbm-dev libc6-dev libssl-dev libmysql++-dev libsqlite3-dev make build-essential libssl-dev libreadline6-dev zlib1g-dev libyaml-dev gcc

    then download the ruby2 source from ruby-lang.org. then untar it and make/install it:
    tar xvfz ruby-2.0.0-p0.tar.gz
    cd ruby-2.0.0-p0 ./configure
    make
    sudo apt-get install

    see if it works:

    /usr/local/bin/ruby -v
      ruby 2.0.0p0 (2013-02-24) [x86_64-linux]

      /usr/local/bin/ruby -e '2.times { p "ruby is fun!" }'
    "ruby is fun!"
    "ruby is fun!"

    *I* am nuts? nuclear weapons and warfare and planning for such may be nuts, but you live in that world. it is reality and the massive amount of weapons is a part of it. as long as there is one nuclear weapon allowed to exist, there will be thousands.

    Heck, I personally think any type of bomb is a very cowardly weapon.

    eh, it's standard basic strategic doctrine, hardly secret: first strike at hundreds of silo based ICBM in Russia, military bases, telecom centers, etc.

    hundreds of our weapons such as the B-83 are variable yield or have many models with various yields, including much lower than the 400kt you mention
