but that's exactly what is happening, we've been cooking those bovine for hundreds of thousands of years. we are their predators. it's natural, it's right.
With chemistry / physics teacher we formed a computer club, sold things & bought a TRS-80. I used it to do Z-80 assemby language programming. Things I learned then have served me to this day. Not until about 10 years later did the school buy machines and have a formal computer class.
My first year of university was the last year students were still using punched cards on a Burroughs mainframe, 1982-1983. The next year they had replaced it with a Honeywell system that had CRT terminals, and we science and engineering students could use an IBM PC XT. I did many numericla methods solutions with Turbo Pascal.
plenty of airlines around the world allow cell phones on aircraft. their craft are not falling out of the sky, there is no issue
just as there is not an epidemic of pilots being blinded, this is nonsense. a 3mw laser pointer at a several hundred feet distance is going to have a beam diameter measured in feet, and the power per square foot will be less than a very dimly lit room.
wrong, we can communicate starting with the language of mathematics and science. Counting, elementary particles periodic chart...in fact this is just what the Voyager disks start with
that "lifetime" for a geostationary satellite means being kept in a useful position, that's another matter from an object that doesn't have to maintain ideal comm location
because the earth ISN'T full of people living under the thumb of a few rich countries with politicians in the pockets of mega-corporations, who wage wars of choice?
there is another time-honored way of dealing with thugs. it's a small country in this age of jet travel, pay the fuckers a visit and make them an offer they can't refuse. pain and maiming a thug will understand
Obama has done a great job continuing the Bush-Cheney agenda while fooling some into thinking he's some kind of "liberal progressive" (the U.S. meaning of the words, not the rest of the world's)
no, that intel chip will not run the multiple VMs I use, core count and memory not clock speed are the big considerations for me. For an average desktop user, maybe one or two core is all they *can* use, but for me buying an AMD chip and motherboard is a no brainer and saves hundreds of bucks
tobacco use is the foremost risk factor for cancer. you'll note that's a vegetable
yes it does, our ancestors hunted bovine, we've just used our brains to make a more efficient process
diameter is more important than length
no problem, a few hits on the bong will chill them out
two words: sea kittens. QED, PETA are 'tards.
you mean the cuddly cud-chewing prarie puppies?

of basically magical spirit-creatures, little demons and angels or fairies or whatever.

raped my great-great-.......great grandaddy! and he liked it!
uh yeah, because radioactive contamination from nuke plants often goes unchecked and makes foodstuffs turn blue or green.
you're funny...
some of us can deal in that coin

nonsense, a few milliwatts of light spread over many feet will not be "blinding", it will be barely visible.
no, the holy grail will be to first synthesize the DNA for parentless humans made-to-order. replicants.
eh, they need a uterus to grow.
when they can make a uterus and replicate the hormone cascade of pregancy in a man, then things will get weird.....
you should keep quiet about those kinds of ideas, you don't want people to think you're a robosexual, now do you?

the problem is, that 4 core intel cpu alone will cost over twice what my CPU + motherboard did
it's a no-brainer, AMD for the win

I do look at power, my CPU isn't the big eater of it. everything else is.
