I remember a math site on here that proved formulas such as 0=1. It was in someone's sig. If anyone knows of it can you post or email. I believe it was called "Math Tricks That Will Stump High School Teachers" or something to that effect
And since obtaining root once you have a local login is trivial
It is? Isn't this what us slashdotters use to prove supremacy to windows? Yes I do have nix experience, I just think trivial is a bit overexaggerating on a secure system. IE not out of box Red Hat.
Even if you burn off your fingerprints and poke your eyes out, there's still DNA, something that can never be changed, and that's the beauty of biometrics.:)
a market research tool? The slashdot users ideas are being exploited for the commercial benefit of others. And we don't even get the free food/coffee that is at most focus groups.
You are assuming three letter TLDs. Add another letter and you have to account for another x number of domains. So it is possible to have 2000000000 TLD names but not likely.
Also what about digits. that makes it 36 characters. I believe there are already.666 or other numberic TLDs.
This still doesn't quite make sense (if IPv6 uses byte.byte.byte.byte.byte.byte naming). If so then theoretically you would have 2^48 possible ips (256*256*256*256*256*256). So how can you get more? Different subnets. This concept is quite over my head:)
Groucho Marx glasses. Goes right along with the 1st ammendment, you choose the way you look.
1=2 we hope that you choke.
Wasn't Taiwan one of the only countries not to ratify the Berne Convention? If so then why are they bothering to enforce foreign copyrights?
But will the post office be threatened with a lawsuit if say I mail a photocopy of the document in question to you? Nope.
I just find it sad that somebody had the time to write that.
except maybe to the effnet admins pride :)
Bombarding undernets webserver would damage efnet admin's pride?
Picky, yes. Funny, hopefully.
"And you knew that if someone was one of the "disappeared" that you did not ask about them, or you might get the same fate."
1984 anyone?
Stop using Windows. That's bound to get rid of a lot of blue screens.
I HATE POPUPS!

Isn't a barcode just like a graphic that was printed? In the article it mentions it as a chip. Can anyone explain?

Your comment would be so much better if you had quotes around "perfectly good application". Oh well.

Just talk on the cell phone a lot.
I had to read this in grade 10. I actually wasn't dissapointed by it. Wasn't it also titled Charly?
the CUBE the same as Dolphin?
That'd be a pretty fucked up national anthem.

That will do really well. Considering K5 probably has loads of traffic coming in on eht0.
It could drain into one of dem sewer vents. You know like rainwater does? Let the city workers deal with the ice :)
For that sort of data, all you need is a very fast text search. You mean like grep? :)
Or click here to avoid having to copy and paste.
So postgres isn't an ACID database. More like ACI.
