The reason for Windoze success is because our government installed it as the OS they wanted. As far as I'm concerned Windoze stole everything from other OS's and the registry is nothing but spyware.
The truth is that the government declared Windoze would be the THE OS and we would suffer for it for years. It's the spyware registry that give big brother all your information and getting into your privacy. I can't see any advances in computer technology since 1993. It's just more bloat and crapola and eye candy that forces the consumer to buy more and faster machines just so they can make their computers work as fast as before.

As far as I can see they still are stealing from the Amiga and as long as GREED rules Amiga rules. Tell me any other OS that is as easy to write apps to! Too bad Amigans have to fight with each other over bones.

I don't see voice actvated interface or a computer that starts at a flip of the switch. What I see is more fluff and useless eye candy. I guess ignorance is bliss; I'm disgusted!

In the '90's Amiga had AmigaLive then the the toaster. I thought the emergence of TV and PC was here. Then the bust. I can't for the life of me figure why windoze and mac are even in the running for anything. Ya' know you can't fix a wrong answer no matter how much money you throw at it!!!
I have XP and it's like a garage collector that gets in it's own way. Some day when we get over this crap and we start programming in colors instead of binary; you'll see.

When we had a user group we where writing GUI's AREXX, AMOS games and other scripting programs that nobody could or even can do on your winbloz machines. My A3000 just keeps on going and going and going. It never goes on line never crashes and does the job it does better that any overbloated machine out there!

The other thing was that ordinary people could write icon programs and post them on aminet I use a 3 button mouse I think icons are a relic...

What's the big deal!? 10 years ago Amiga could run MacOS and Windows on the fly while still multitasking...
