I have plenty of prior art, starting with Camfrog, where I stream it all from art that I'm working on to design of hydro systems, plus occasionally stream a youtube video for discussion or what not.
Been pretty fucking obvious, really. The software to get all of this done has been around for quite some time.
First off, regular LED lamps are way more efficient than a laser. It's already got a great dispersion pattern, and it's focusable with a simple lens to keep it tight. I have a 12w LED lamp that replaced my 100w MH porch light. I can still see just as well.
There is almost zero point in decohering a laser, and in fact odds are you're going to have that decohering surface wear out over time (as well as the laser as it gets way hot.) Sounds expensive to replace, too! Oh, this is BMW, you say? That would figure.
On the left, practical zero-light system. The only light being used in that area is the light above our head for vision. On the right, LED-based rapid production system - 90% less water, 19 days from germinated seed to harvest. That's on a measly day 8.
Not only is it happening, but I'm essentially the field leader. Nobody's as advanced.
And in the meantime, news about things like me figuring out a method of partially bypassing photosynthesis to achieve greater energy efficiencies in indoor commercial horticulture just get dismissed.

Never heard of LuzSec, I see, despite that being the most recent group to wreak havoc. Hundreds of thousands of people involved with various activities from DDoS to SQL injection and only a HANDFUL actually caught.
I re-iterate. The NSA and other Gov't agencies are useless. Their very incompetence and greed is what is allowing this to happen.
If you haven't had your ears open to the world long enough to be able to recall multiple cases or news stories regarding those things WITHOUT the source being thrown in your face, you're as incompetent as the police we are questioning here, and you have zero place in this discussion.
If grown locally, far, FAR lower versus the cost of the shipped tomato.
4V supply would kill the red diodes which typically operate at 2.4-2.6V. The blue ones would survive having a typical 3.4-3.6V operative voltage.

Just so you should know, I am DEEPLY entrenched in this particular field of optoelectronics.
The very best LED from Cree top 230 lux/w @ 6500 CCT.
So, no.
All I have is the video, and one measly picture of me doing a little research on the same lettuce batch in the video - http://i.imgur.com/lCMsw.jpg
LED growing lights, while low-power, are not all THAT low-power. They are also very picky about their power input.

1W green vs 1W blue - take the blue, much higher photonic damage potential.
Blues are also more efficient if they're LED-based.
Forgive the audio (the camera hates any light level that can't make a quantum meter register and spazzes out until I get back into brighter area)

Get an LED light and some tiny starter pots and seeds.
I can help you out with that.

Actualy, I guess you bothered to *NOT* look at MenuetOS.
Otherwise you'd see you're 100% wrong.
And we've been doing useful work since well before C, child.
No ASM programming?
Enjoy being useless when you need to work at the bare-metal level.
Also, enjoy being dog-ass slow and having boated code.
For a perfect example of why ASM rocks, see MenuetOS.

"What I have trouble with is someone trying to just throw facts out there assuming everyone else will know and agree. I'm sorry, but I'm an engineer."
And your mindset is exactly why you'll never make it in a harder field of science, such as photobiology.
"I'm sorry that some of us don't just accept what other people say without evidence of the fact."
That looks like an admission of ignorance to what is happening in the real world, to me.
"So it's not up to me to do the work to verify your proof."
You'll never be a scientist, I can already tell.
I built a better system (WITH A VIDEO CARD AND OPTICAL DRIVE, PCMAG) for $189 on Pricewatch.
AND YOU CAN GAME ON IT.
But you forget about monitor pricing.
"And you are a total idiot if you actually believe these guys can't be tracked down with ease by the NSA or any other affiliated security service"
Just FYI, the NSA has consistently failed to catch most hackers in any security exercise.
"You actually think these organizations are going to issue a press release and reveal their capabilities to the world?"
You don't know how the government system works, I see.
You very obviously don't know IT, either.

I had a 480P '3d' headset years ago.
They were shit and induced nasty eye strain.
No, more of a fishy flavor.
Scientist #1: We're having problems observing these neurons! Blasted plain optics!
Scientist #2: If only there were some way to make the mouse embryo transparent!
Bear Grylls: Soak it in piss! *gulp*
The moment it lost its eye wall.
The only Rush worth a shit was the ones based with a Cirrus Logic 2D component. Those barely existed, so the Rush doesn't count.
