    sorry to repoint this thread back, but bluetooth is definately the way to go. I spend about 1/2 hr untangling the wires my mp3 player came with. And this is with the now obligitory neckstrap and little peice of string to stop the jack being strained

    well sometimes, you actually want to hear the news/weather/traffic Especially if your travelling on a coach for 5 hrs and need to know if birmingham is at a standstill again --an owner of a 512mb mp3 player with fm radio

    And why do people accept the spyware? Cos the pop up dialogs will keep popping up until they press yes, or CTRL-ALT-Del, find the nuscience and kill it manually. (had an exploit install itself into the system and try to change my dialup. That's the day i installed Ad-aware, and went broadband :) )

    or... install Spyware guard, http://www.wilderssecurity.com/spywareguard.html which blocks the spyware, and teach them to use Ad-aware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ on a regular basis.

    Really? I know RADIO broadcasts are available online - but then again, we're not charged for owning a radio are we? Basically, the BBC want to claim more money from us. They were given a licence (pun intended)to print money way back when, which they have never failed to exploit. If the programs are available online IT IS BECAUSE THE BBC MADE THEM AVAILABLE. Why are they whinging now that people have taken advantage of this? If only the BBC were accountable to the viewers, then i would not begrudge any fee. instead i have to read news stories like this:- http://www.timesonline.co.uk/newspaper/0,,174-1510 372,00.html So thats where my licence fee went then - nothing useful, entertaining or even educational would receive that amount of money. BBC - Beeb Buying Celebrities (and minor ones at that)
