Man WTH is up with Microsoft? Someone way high up there seems to be able to mess up a wet dream. They had infopath which wasn't that bad. I know a number of people, even recently that were developing on it only to find out it's gone and Microsoft wouldn't even tell them that it's abandoned. They just would never get back to them. I keep reading and finding out about things like this. Maybe they have too many Harvard MBAs on staff?

Now they want to spread their incompetence to other areas? Wonderful. Seems like more and more we're being ruled by fools. At least we got one big fool out of the white house.

  4. 150 KWH? That's like 360 HP the entire time it's charging. So you're one of those - fill it up 1/3 of the way guys instead of filling it up? If it's a diesel engine generating that kind of power, we're at 18 GPH. Gasoline we're more like 30. So 30 minutes we're still at 9 gallons. Even at 10 minutes we're at 3 gallons. Interesting thing is, we're not at that 100 MPG level that they keep telling us we'll get. No where near it. 3 gallons of gasoline will take my 12 year old full sized caddy 75 miles. The electric vehicle is probably around double that.

Not that impressive yet. Then with that I'm reading about the crappy repair records and hostile policies for Tesla cars, it's not worth it. Maybe a Chevy volt would be better. Thanks AC for getting me to think about this. By the way, be a real man, get a userid. You don't need to be an AC.

  6. Why would any pen tester ever run Kali as a Windows subsystem/vm? That makes about as much sense as taking a Formula 1 race car, strapping it onto a flatbed tow truck that has all kinds of things clacking on it and racing that in the Indy 500. Yea you can do it, only an idiot would do that. The whole point of Kali is that it's very quiet. The latest one is so quiet it's scary if you're looking for someone using it. If there's science behind it, use that. There isn't so they can't.

Slashdot has always been more technically oriented. News for nerds, why would I expect you to not be a nerd? Maybe you missed that part? You're welcome to be here (even though some people on slashdot can be very abrasive), ask questions. However if you have trouble removing avast, I have a hard time feeling sorry for you. I have a friend that he could be the picture in the dictionary for a lay person and he was able to do it. No kidding. The dude is a bad check collector for the past 30 years. You're kidding. Ted was a socialist. I've met him a number of times in the 1980s when I was working for the University, he'd tell you he was a socialist. So was Roosevelt, so was Wilson. They're ok with socialism because they don't tell them the truth about it. They don't tell them out it's really just another form of slavery. Want to get ahead? You can't. Other people have needs and fuck you. Equal misery for everyone. Unless you are corrupt, then you can do really well. The so called equality. Well people aren't equal. Haven't you figured that out yet? I've had people that I can't teach simple algebra to no matter what I try. They will never understand it. Even how to take a simple 10% of a number. What about 15%? Not hard if you have a brain. So why penalize smart people?

I know plenty of people that when they were young bought into the socialist rose colored glasses. Then when they grew up, realized how terrible it is. Watch Animal Farm. You should be able to relate it to the last administration. The lawlessness, Obama doing whatever he wanted down to the enforcers. The FBI and Justice people that with any luck will be brought to justice soon. The wheels of justice is catching up to them.

Same problem here. People can be really stupid and do really dumb things. They love to lie to themselves. I don't look like a fat slob or I'm glad I don't look like that person and they look worse! Likewise we have people that will not pay attention and intentionally do stupid things and cause accidents because they're not watching the road like they're supposed to. Turning off safety mechanisms and we see this with E-cigarettes as well. Accident is one thing, I don't read about many minor accidents with these cars. I'm seeing where they're plowing into a concrete barrier at 60 MPH or a truck at highway speeds. Things that can kill you easily.

Probably need a monitor in the car to make sure they're watching the road and not doing their make up, shaving or something else.
