These modest, unmanned missions are where all the real science is.
Yes, for now, but we must always be pushing towards the goal of manned space exploration, since the human race could theoreticaly outlive Earth if we are able to leave.
this might be obvious, but they aren't required to charge it, they are required to pay it. Consumers are charged the tax to keep records simple and have more attractive prices.
yes, the people directly voted for the measure, but who put the measure on the ballot? Also, the governor and many other elected officials endorsed the measure. While in my original statement the use of the word "decided" was wrong, my point is still valid: the government is not working for all of the people first, as it should be.
How about funding the University of California so we can have more scientists than beurocrats?
Or figure out what to do with the gang-infested areas of LA?
Nope, the governemnt has decided it is more important to shoot for the moon than to fix current problems that affect everyone.
I do wish the state had the ability to properly fund the research, since the people have voted in favor of it. I would prefer it to be with adult and umbilical stem cells, because of the moral questions, though I am not against research using embryonic stem cells. I don't think the government should fund something that many of its citizens don't like. I don't want the ten commandments being posted for the same reason.
I think Wells Fargo is big enough and serious enough to know the risks and do all they can to stay on top of the security of their ATMs
I have used these "web-enabled" ATMs and they are a lot more usefull than the old ones. You can set a one-button quick cash that remembers if you want 20, 40, 60... and if you want a reciept. I have rarely seen them down, and never with an embarrasing error box or BSOD.
no wonder the russian economy sucks... all their programmers are wasting their money on trading windows exploits...

"Would our minds simply stop recording time and infinitly time-stretch a perfectly real dream?"
Yeah, I saw the end of American Beauty too. The movie What Dreams May Come alludes to this idea too. I like the idea, but am still afraid of death.
Wow, who thought a post about video game ratings would spur this kind of OT discussion...
I for one welcome our new insect-killing overloards.

The sheild generator is on the moon between it and the planet. So if they blow that up, they would get blown up
I was eating a bluberry muffin when I read it -> heavenly experience
hahaha, its like Vogon poetry
