vote with their wallets, if they are unsatisfied with microsoft's product just quit buying it & switch to a viable alternative = GNU/Linux --works-for-me, i dont even have Windows installed on any of the four computers on my LAN, 2 have Slackware & KDE and 2 have Ubuntu & Gnome, i even took all my Windows CDs (Win98&2k & Office97/2k) packed em in a shoebox and put em up in the attic...
once enough people do what i did microsoft will get the picture...
i like to wear khaki slacks & spotless/new plain white T-shirt & loafers in the summer, and Roundhouse brand overalls & khaki longsleeve shirt & leather boots in the cold winter.
i have a Kodak Digital Camera, i was reading the specs for the Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock, i never owned this dock but it says system requirements:
System Requirements
Operating System Apple MacOS X Microsoft Windows 2000 Microsoft Windows 98 Microsoft Windows 98 SE Microsoft Windows ME Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Microsoft Windows XP Professional
i wont bother to buy one of these if it must be attached to a computer via a USB umbilical cord with Windows installed, i would much rather have a printer dock that is independent of any computer and only requiring electricity and ink & paper...
fsck em & feed em fishheads, their product is easily used for malicious purposes such as stealing creditcard numbers & identity theft, and i would imagine anyone clever enough could take their product and make it even worse in any number of ways & methods...
if FOSS is socialism, then Microsoft & others of the same business model are tyrant dictators wanting to userp absolute power, and we all know what absolute power leads to...
remember that old TV series? and others from the late 1950's & early 1960's like Mayberry RFD & Leave it to Beaver etc..., that is what most of Kansas is still like, they think it is still the 1950's and they got to keep the hood safe for little Opie Taylor and the Beaver...
more hardware MFGers should make a downloadable shell script for GNU/Linux and as long as users have their kernel source installed it will compile a kernel driver for whatever hardware they have purchased:^)
why would anyone choose to watch movies and video on a screen about the size of a saltine cracker?, when there is a full size TV in the living room and atleast a 17 inch computer monitor in the HomeOffice?

thats all i needed to read to not take it serously, until they have an actual product to put on the market that proves beyond any doubt...
make CD #1 mostly a base system with xorg and the basic x apps, similar to Slackware's #1 CD, and make a #2 CD with Gnome & KDE letting the user decide to install either Gnome and/or KDE, or users can just download the #1 CD install and get a basic OS booting, and download & install either gnome or kde via ftp after installing CD #1
i will never buy any new music or videos from retail stores, for now on i will shop at yard sales & flea markets & pawn shops for music & video, then i will make lots of copies for friends & family...
