    CB radio is the trashiest part of the radio spectrum in the universe, there are radios with echo/reverb that sound wierd, and there is also single side band that will sound garbled while listened to from the AM side, plus people with absolutly no knowledge of radios & electronics opening their radio and trying to tweak a little more power out of it only to screw them up making the AM carrier dirty and over modulating the audio that end up sounding worse than if they left them alone, so on days where there is DX/skip conditions the CB part of the radio spectrum will be a complete and total mess that is almost guarenteed to give the listener a migrane headache... do yourself a favour, sell your CB radio to any truck driver you know, and buy a shortwave reciever with single side band (SSB) and listen to the HAMs chat you will find some interesting conversations and also learn some things too :)

    tabs are sort of redundant since the message headers are right there in the top half for selecting, i can understand tabs in a browser but not an email client, i hope it can be turned off or disabled if it is built-in or just optional as an extention...

    that was exactly what i was thinking, if they were experimenting with a motherboard that was made for two CPUs why not put two dual-core CPUs on it...

    and maybe compile a Linux kernel on it with custom SMP support, heck just go all out and do a stage one gentoo install :^)

    i never make purchasing decisions based on rebates, i rather avoid the rebate and find another retail outlet with a lower up-front price even if it means driving a little further or buying another compatible/comparable brand name...

    if a user without admin privileges on a Microsoft windows computer can insert a Sony $sys$rootkit music CD and it still gets installed like the admin did it then Microsoft & their Windows OS has bigger problems than autorun, devices should not have greater access privileges than an unprivileged user...

    i think there is a HUGE gaping hole in MS-Windows that Microsoft refuses to patch, they just re-configure the hole until somebody finds it again to exploit...

    no matter how rich and prestigious any corporation or government is - the embedding/hiding/including of spyware/malware/virus/trojan/rootkit etc... in any media that gets used on a computer should be outlawed and posted on news and websites specific to reporting such incedince. whatever gets the word out to the public...

    exactly, i bought items from websites and the forum was not encrypted but as soon and you click that enter button just look for that yellow address bar in firefox (lock icon in the statusbar for mozilla) showing the transmission of data is encrypted

    Redhat? Novell? all distros combined? who? sounds like a generalization to me...

    what about all the implementations of GNU/Linux where the admin just downloads ISOs & burns && installs them without the need of a sales receipt and other records being kept...

    i think it is just more FUD and at the risk of sounding redundant i will say "nothing to see here, please move along"...
