    The Motorola Timeport 7389 seems to be the right phone for you. It works in GSM 900/1800/1900 networks, it supports Voice Dialing, it has an integrated WAP Browser and all the other common features (it has no games *g). It has an IRDA port , too. So you can connect it to your Palm :).

    What does this mean for Apple? Lots of Mac users will buy PCs and get MacOS for it. Apple won't be able to sell enough Macs anymore and they'll go bankrut ...

    Maybe you'd like to work at the USB drivers of the Linux Kernel. It needs some enhancement and I think the students would learn a lot by doing it ;)

    Wow, now there is a new XF86 with support for my card (ATi Fury) and I don't have to use the FB drivers (or the closed source SuSE drivers) anymore :*). But what I really want is one feature I've seen at the German "Linux Tag" in Kaiserslautern last year: The Dual Head support! It was working over a half year ago, so why didn't they implement it to the new version?

    I take the first letters of each word of a proverb ... hmmm ... for example ... "Total world domination" (I know: That's no real proverb ;-) ) and add some numbers (let's say: 666).
    Twd666 (In this case it's a little short)

    Yeah, gpm support would be a possibility. But I don't (really) want Mutt to have mouse support. It's a way to get more users, but I don't need it (and I like Mutt the way it is).

    Mutt is the best mail client I've ever seen ... but ... what Mutt needs is: Mouse support (maybe the new version has it) for all the newbie-Linux-users. Mouse support is the thing, that all the Windows users want from their mail client. Don't you think?
    Once a friend (windoze user) asked me: "Why do you use this non-graphical mail client with no mouse support?" I explained all the nice features to him, but he said: "Really nice, but it has no mouse support!"
