Cars could be much more efficient if they didn't weigh 2 tons. Reduce the weight to something sensible and your problem is solved.
I know it's a radical idea but why not have separate roads for light and efficient vehicles - bicycles, low cc motorbikes and ultra-efficient, light cars, and then high taxes and the absurdly heavy cars can go on the roads with the trucks etc.
Most cars are only carrying one person most of the time anyway, 2000 kilos to carry 80 kilos strikes me as daft.
A new Components returns rates report just came out and the failure rate of some of OCZ's models is shockingly bad, they have indeed been selling duds.
I didn't find leaning C the same, the teacher taught the theory during the morning (which I somehow learnt even though I slept half the time - too easy) and we did the practical in the afternoon, I guess he was a good teacher because the practical seemed like a formality.
A good teacher makes a huge difference, I'm currently teaching myself Java by watching youtube tutorials, there's too much type this code and not enough explanations of the fundamentals, such as explaining what different syntax does.
In the UK life is typically 15 years (possibly out in 7.5). This poor bastard has already been sentenced without trial to 30+ years, that is outrageously immoral.
Thank god Gary McKinnon is not going to be extradited, wrong reason though, I would say that the length of the sentences handed out in the US are simply cruel and unjust.
You said link to examples of non-US sites being fucked about with by the US govt, I did that, now you're saying the links are BS which clearly they are not, YOU are a fucking arsehole, and you've lost the argument, goodbye.
Really!?, that's complete baloney, you try visiting some bookmarks that are 5 years old, most of them are gone. The internet not only forgets, I'd argue it's actually rather bad at remembering. Google doesn't cache half as much as it used to and even then, the cache is gone within a month anyway. The internet archive does some caching but only individual pages and only when it's prodded AFAIK.
So where is this mythical 'never forgetting' that you speak of? Ah, you mean Facebook - Facebook is not the internet, and give it some time, it'll start forgetting.
Aren't ordinary car lead batteries easy to recycle into new batteries by the manufacturers.. or is there some part which can not be recycled? Chemistry not my strong point.
Lol at you completely missed what I was aiming at, they are calling all people who break civil law by infringing upon copyright criminals by calling them thieves, that is where the bias is, this is certainly not the first time they've call copyright infringement 'stealing' and I doubt it will be the last.
A lot of people fail to realise that copyright is not a natural right - mankind got to where it is by copying - learning is a form of copying.
Copyrights last too long and copying without the correct consent within the absurd time-frame set out by the law is not 'stealing'.
" This initial 3.06 GHz 533FSB Pentium 4 Hyper-Threading enabled processor was known as Pentium 4 HT and was introduced to mass market by Gateway in November 2002."
I'm surprised that no-one has pointed out that 50+% price hike for the longer warranty means the drive is the same crappy drive as the drive with a one year warranty but you just paid for the replacement that your going to get when the drive fails. Not really what anyone wants and the reason I'm not getting new HDDs until this pricing and warranty mess sorts itself out.
Insurance companies should turn down insurance claims without IMEIs and crime ref no's, that'd help a lot towards fixing the situation.
And the phones should have kill-switches / be able to irrevocably damage the phones main chips, that'd cause the cost of repair to be too high and anyone looking to replace large amounts of chips would look very dodgy.
So he swore at some police, like so fucking what? They can be obnoxious overbearing officious twats, especially when it comes to cyclists.
I really don't see why he's resigning. The current crop of Tories (UK gov't party) are all rich and I expect they all think they are above 'the commoners'. Perhaps this is it, he's not allowed to say what the Tories think of the voters. Not that I like Tories, they're ****s.
Obama and Romney are both corporate party scumbags, but Obama hasn't declared war with Iran which is a good job because if USA (and it's pet UK) went to war with Iran the global economy would be double fucked (oil price explosion), Romney is a sociopathic nutjob and I wouldn't put it past him to go to war with Iran, something Obama hasn't done and I don't think he will do.

Oh, you can't say greed is wrong, that's blasphemy against the capitalist religion.
Greed is good.

This third round of action in âOperation in Our Sitesâ(TM) took control of the domains of Rojadirecta, one of Spainâ(TM)s most popular sites.
The people who operate Firstrow donâ(TM)t live in the US, and neither are their servers located there. In fact, Firstrow says that their site is perfectly legal where they are based
November when ICE seized Rojadirecta.org, a sports site held to be a legal website by Spanish courts on two occasions. The agency may have a desire to protect consumers from foreign websites. Steve Tepp, ICE senior director for Internet counterfeiting and piracy, explains that âoetheir jurisdiction is limited to the United Statesâ¦â However, Tepp argues that âoe[w]e need legislation to provide enhanced remedies to cut off foreign rogue sites from the U.S. market
U.S. Claims Global Jurisdiction of .net and .com Web Sites: Is .edu Next?
It appears to be the US asserting jurisdiction over any website in any country.
ICE seized the TVShack.net in June 2010
You clearly haven't been paying attention.
U.S. Government Shuts Down 84,000 Websites, 'By Mistake
Just google ICE and 'websites' for more crap that the US govt has been pulling against websites, many of which are perfectly legal and not in the US.

The BBC are as biased as f**k, the phrase in the first line of the article
"who use technologies such as BitTorrent to steal copyrighted material."
You know who's side they're on when they use weasel words like that, and it's certainly not the license-payers side.

Taxi's hire cost would get a whole lot cheaper because there would be no driver to pay for.
Taxi's would get a whole lot cheaper.
Search is an sad crippled heap of **** in windows 7, I turned it off completely and use Agent-Ransack instead.
Karma's a bitch eh Steve. ;-D
waaaaaaa ha ha ha ha he so deserves it.

I'm curious, to put things in perspective, how much does a two bedroom house cost to rent per month in the city you mention?
In London most of your wages after tax would go on rent.

You want exciting failure, reach round the back of the PC to the power supply, switch the 110/220 selection switch whilst the computer is powered on.
Yeah, I couldn't find the power switch and made that mistake ONCE. (Loud bang + magic smoke, whilst practically hugging the PC)

Personally, I'm glad my SSDs aren't OCZ.
