Compare that to a school. What's the value of those kid's lives? Why not have any guards for those? Why not let each school get together with their district and decide whether or not it is appropriate? Because we are talking about schools and not fucking prisons? Also how good is airport security? There are lots of cases where people got weapons on plains even though there is so much security. So why should school security be any better?

the EU is not a sovereign nation, most of its member nations hate the origanization and only are considered part of it because their leaders lied them into it in the first place. now they are going to tell the world how to do business? is like saying the USA is not a sovereign nation, most of its states hate the origanization and only are considered part of it because their leaders gave them no choice in the first place (even fought a war).

But if somebody tries to mug me, breaks into my car, causes an auto accident, etc..., then the cameras would come in handy. Orly? There are just two major problems with that:
a) Quality
b) How long they store the video feed
If a) the quality is high they can only store a short amount of time b), lets say 12 hours of video, so if you are out of the 12 stored hours you are out of luck. If a) the quality is crap they can b) store way more footage but probably the quality is so bad that you can't use the material taken for anything other than seeing that something happened.
So in the end you feel saver but in reality are you really that much safer?
Whats even worse is the "of all time" thing. There is no way to know that something will be the best thing ever when ever has no end to it. It might be the best thing up to now but probably down the road there is gonna be something that is equally good or better. So please people, media, world stop doing "best thing ever" features!
