Sure, I haven't ever actually used anything I learned in that course. But it was neat. Everytime I write code that involves parsing a text file, I always complain "I wish I were allowed to do this in Lisp."
Webprogramming in Lisp would be, um, interesting. . . I've never considered that possibility before. I might buy the book just for help setting that up.

Make sure you get lots of credits in film studies. I say this as someone who might want to compete with you for jobs in the future.
