    OK, how about the state board of education being cut in half. It probably could be cut more. They have increased it's size by more than 80% without any improvement in the education system as a result. Reduction in education bureaucracy has always been a significant cost saver. How about a reduction of state funded handouts. A quick analysys shows that 50% of those on the government dole is capably of holding down a job. This would increase their incentive to find work. I could go on but don't have the time right now. I have work to do.

    Or, you can look at this as Intel just trying to force the public to buy new computers (chips) because that is the only way to get the service they want. Can you say "Iphone and AT&T"?

    How about Sean Hannity's blatant lying about Tea Party rally attendance ON THE AIR? He's clearly heard asking how many people are there, is told 3000-4000 and then directly goes live to say 25,000 people are there.

    Yes, but I actually use Google and Amazon. I will not be using i anything unless it becomes affordable and not network restricted (like iphone).

    I'm disappointed it made it onto CNN.

    I had no doubts that this came from CNN. They, themselves, have lost so much market share that they are desperate to put out any garbage that they can find. Maybe they should start giving all views of the news so that people will watch again.

    And still nothing new. Yes I changed from xp to win7 because it is better but, in 2 more years there will be nothing new. This is just marketing that people don't buy into anymore. Oh, one thing the will do is: no more 32 bit version.

    I have tried photoshop in a VM with large images and it is awful to work with. I also process video and rendering in a VM is pathetic. VM has it's place, but not in any serious media production environment.

    I saw no real multi-touch features demonstrated in the video. He just moved the window around with more that one finger. I can do that on any touch screen.

    Who writes checks anymore (I think we write 1 or two a month at most and have bought from a private printer for 25 years)? Who needs to use an out-of-network ATM (there has always been a B of A ATM within a mile of where I am and every store in the U.S. takes my ATM card)? Who would even consider using a bank for collecting interest (there hasn't been a decent interest rate anywhere that compares to private credit unions)?

    I have been with B of A for 15 years and never paid a fee or bought checks from them. The online bill pay is priceless and works perfectly every time. When I made an error, they helped me fix it, and put the money back instantly. I have two college kids on their own accounts and they are free too. The bank has helped them several times when they were still minors and made mistakes.

    Business accounts may be a different matter but personal account are free and so easy.

    The UN was conceived for provide aid to needy areas by a unified front. Now they are hell bent on governing the entire planet. I, for one, do not recognize any authority of the UN as a governing body and the United States had better be on the same page or life and liberty as we know it will be ended. Unfortunately, a one world government in in the Bible as prophecy and will come to pass as part of the timeline to the end of the world as we know it.

    When I was taught to drive (about 36 years ago), a yellow light meant to slow down and try to stop now because you are going to have to shortly and people in the other turn lane need to clear the intersections so, give them a chance.

    Now, the yellow light seems to mean that you need to hurry up and get through so you don't get stuck at the red light that is coming. I have been rear ended twice in the last 6 years because the idiot behind me has no common sense and no business behind the wheel.

    How many usb ports does your Ipad have and, for that matter, how much SD memory can you plug in. For much less money, I have a netbook that does so much more. No permission needed to install what I want. I really want a tablet in the same (or a little higher) price range that do the same thing.

    The mention of arm tablets in the same arena makes me want to puke!. Arm cannot do enough to be a real computer, only a pocket toy. I want to see more X86 tablets and Atom isn't good enough either. AMD or Via has a good enough x86 for this though. I actually would prefer the Via Nano if they ever get a bit more horsepower in it.
