    I always liked the idea of hydrogen in a tank being a battery. It's hard to throttle wind and solar up and down to the amount of power needed but if you just had them running (safely) at whatever speed was possible due to current conditions, they could be crackin' water into fuel. ...but that's one of things that gets mentioned every time without much mention of any similar systems having been built or being built or even being proposed seriously so there's obviously some major issues along the lines of needing $40 per gallon of gas to be competitive.

    It might be a bad apple but give potential buyers an idea what to look out for should they be in the market for similar products.

    Thank, sir. I tried a clean install and it's working perfectly. I know, I know. Upgrading instead of clean installs is prone to trouble but it was pretty convenient for more than several updates.

    I was thinking more along the lines that Google puts up a notice saying some results are not shown because they are complying with local laws. That's probably not the exact language but I think it's close.

    Are they stating on said search results that they have filtered the results due to Chinese laws?

    I mean, they can be only so subtle about it before China decides to block it entirely but at least MS could dangle that bit of info there for any one curious to wonder "Hey, now what law is that and why is it enforced?"

    What version of Opera are you using?

    I've been using Opera for most everything and Firefox for when websites throw a hissyfit at the big O but after upgrading to 10, I was ready to go FF full time. I don't know what they did but going from 9 to 10 added some serious performance issues when opening a new tab or loading page. I'm talking half a dozen seconds of CPU going full throttle and Opera being frozen for the entire duration for just clicking on a link.

    Thankfully, I was able to get and install 9.6. Oh, sweet, sweet mouse gestures. I missed you.
