And it's blasphemy to say that MK64 is better than MK:DD. The graphics and framerate are so bad in MK64 that it's nearly unplayable.
Personally, I prefer MK64. The games are so similar that it's just the little things that make the difference.
The hop. The way you drifted corners. The item system (no character specific items). No kart selection. Simpler, aye, but you didn't need the knowledge of what character has what items and what kart is the one for your duo.
Now, with all that said, I did enjoy it immensely with 4 players. Co-op was pretty fun too. And yes, the framerate was just terrible but, like with Golden Eye and Perfect Dark, it still beats all these damn car and shooter sims when it comes to down to what's fun and what's not.
I bought Turok 1 & 2 for the N64 and Turok Evolution for the Gamecube. I played them, enjoyed them, but I haven't shed a tear for Acclaim.
Crap-tacular games can be fun but that doesn't mean they're good or that the developers should be encouraged/paid.
Doom 3 just didn't interact enough with the player. Instead of some crap hell plot, they should have made System Shock 3.
I fail to see how terrorists win because I'm not paying ANYONE for a particular piece of software/music album/movie.
If anything, ISPs win because they make money off the people send/recieving said "pirated" goods.
Ah, for fuck's sake. Man, I just read a nice, warm and fuzzy editorial that was all about some fucking obvious commonsense things that should happen and then I hoped on here.
Fan-fucking-tastic.
So, how many years before the citizens of the world unite to overthrow their piss-poor governments or am I asking a third world war too soon?
Shines? SHINES?
Maybe shiny like a fresh puddle of diarrhea but for fuck's sake, it is not good.
I thought General Greivous was going to have a bad ass fight scene. In fact, I thought there was going to be a bunch of kick ass fights but mostly it was about R2D2 doing funny shit and Yoda turned into some hideous CGI little bastard. Oh, and Chewie.
I just want to pummel every god damn nerd who ended up seeing four showings on the first day.
I tried resuming a torrent started with BitTornado but all BT did was eat up about 20MB of RAM. I suppose it could have been checking the file but with 0 CPU load on it, I said screw it and uninstalled it.
WiFi Golden Eye?! I'll take it!
Of course, it remains to be seen if the games are updated or will even take advantage of the Revolution's hardware.
I'm not talking about remaking textures or dubbing over text in games but simple shit like higher resolutions, solid 60 fps, anti-aliasing, online multiplayer, and et cetera.
Frankly, if it's just a straight emulation, then I say boo because, damn it, I have Mario Kart and Golden Eye and a N64 that still works but christ almighty do they run like shit with 4 players.
Gee, I wonder what they'll top this with.
OH NOES, THERE GOES THE INTERNET.
Stick with the bargin bins, buddy.
Or get a Revolution and download the best of the best of the best of the NES, SNES, and N64 titles.
Or emulate.
So it's just sitting there falling apart? Sarcasm aside, can we not worry when the equivilent of a space tarpaulin falls off?

Bah. How about voice-to-text instead? Yay! Portable speakwrites!
