I don't think morality when it comes to stuff like sex should be forced on people. Child porn is morally wrong because it is proven to harm the children who get abused. However children viewing porn on their own, there is no evidence that this is harmful.
When I was a kid I viewed porn, I'm sure 90% of males first saw porn as a kid, illegally on some porn site or from some magazine, so why should we even pretend like its wrong to view it? Are we the taliban now? are we going to force women to cover up to keep young people from seeing the female body? It's silly.
The average male is going to either look at porn, or have sex for real, and I think if I had kids I'd rather deal with porn addiction than underage sex. If a young adult is curious about sex, its better they learn from the porn than from actually having sex. In a way porn does have a purpose in society. No one is debating that if you invent a physical object you should have exclusive copyright protection to sell it. A patent on an idea however is not the same, you arent inventing anything, you are trying to own the thought itself.
If I write code and its great, the code should not be somethnig I can patent because its like me writin a poem and patenting the sentences. Suddenly the entire language could become illegal once everyone patents every useful sentence. How do you speak when theres no words left to use?

Or better let the corporation hire the community to do these studies, but do not EVER allow the private sector corporations to review itself. In general the government can use a pattern analysis program to analyze the shopping patterns, and other patterns of internet usage to reveal if the person is an actual threat or if the person just likes to look at terrorist websites. If a person starts researching on how to build a nuclear bomb and starts to make strange purchases, these indications are far more reliable than anything else. Shopping habits reveal who supports terrorists, not just what country the came from or how they look, but what they buy.
