... martyrs like Tsingi only prove the point further.
Just because it makes me angry that assholes like you don't care that we are destroying the earth. Which I will admit, is exactly what you want. You win that one.
I fail to see how that makes me a martyr? Or how me being pissed off proves or disproves anything?
What it proves is that you will jump on anything and call it proof.
Careful. Many of the more hardcore wackjob denialists think that anyone who wants to reduce carbon emissions is a crypto-communist-revolutionary (they call them "watermelons" - "green on the outside, red on the inside") who wants to commit genocide against the denialists as part of their plan to create a socialist one-world-government. Don't give them any ammo.
You see, that's where they win all the time. They can say anything they want. But aside from the one world government, that all sounds good.
Besides, with free trade we already have what amounts to a one world government, it's hardly socialist.
Since they refuse to pale in the face of logic, it would be nice to be able to reach through the screen and tear him a new asshole, or rip off his head and shit down his neck, but alas, such enabling technology does not yet exist.
Don't let Hollywood get you upset. It isn't worth it, only thing they value is cash, they care not a whit for history, patriotism, mom or apple pie. Only what they can get you to pay them money for. If that involves telling a bunch of yanks that they are single handedly saving the world, well, that's what they do.
That they all believe it is a problem, but the motives are pure capitalism.
Oh, wait, of course; because there is no "other side" to this story, just customers getting shafted.
Shafting the customers seems to be SOP these days.
Service doesn't seem to be an issue, because the competition doesn't give that either, so now competition is defined in terms of who can shaft the customers the best.
Actually, the US didn't consider fighting the Nazi's until it was relatively clear that the Russians were beating them back. Also, the
Nuremburg trials were a very good example of due process. Many just wanted to execute Nazi's, like you did with Bin Laden.
Your average Web user will install ANYTHING if they want to view a website or if some banner ad promises them some "cool" thing
I've been looking at tick based web games recently. A surprising number of them want to install exe files. I can't run an exe file, but I wouldn't dl and run it even if I could. May as well throw security and privacy right out the window.
AFAICT none of these games NEED to run an exe on your puter.
Personally I think he was just a guy with a good message, like a lot of guys with good messages over the years - but despite that 100x horrible things have been done in his name as things that follow his message. Sad.
It's highly unlikely that he existed. There is very little actual historical evidence from the time. Some apologists claim he went to India and came back in his 30's, but there isn't any real evidence of that either. Basically the whole thing is just what you think it is. A load of crap.
It's not about how many lives are lost or saved, it's about reacting and playing off people's fears. Even if nobody was killed, smashing a bomb into the pentagon would have a bigger impact politically than a bus full of people getting into an accident and killing everyone and you know it.
Exactly what the FBI and the CIA are doing when they manufacture terrorists, playing on YOUR fears.
It was still at best a questionable moral decision, but never-the-less it was one (unusual) case where cold blooded mass murder was a logical potential choice for accomplishing the a goal.
The goal being to maintain hegemony in the Middle East where all that lovely oil is.
All terrorists are nutcases. No sane person decides that cold-blooded mass murder (often of people only tangentially related to the source of their anger) is the best way to accomplish their goals.

This is the hallmark of pretty much all fanatics everywhere. Well done. Why don't you throw in a couple Allahu-ackbars too, before you decapitate me?
I'm an atheist, but whatever turns your crank.

The world completely failed to end...
Here we go with the climate denier trolls.

Is it some kind of magic number?
Godspeed to him, I say. He's had a hell of a career, and if he wants to finally retire and relax then good on him.
I totally agree. We should all bid him a fond adieu.
I still watch STTOS occasionally, but I've never been to a conference. Never been much for religion. Do people still go to those things?
Put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.
(It's the same course, but you don't get to slide down the chute.)
Whatever the product, let's wait until a few facts can be gleaned and the hype-blurb safely ignored.
Didn't they have a "Leave one in a bar then send goons to recover it and rough people up" event for this release?
They need a proper venue to serve you the Koolaid.
... expansive ...
Like a balloon?
Like ...expensive...

Ben Dover.
Let us use our imaginations, just a little bit...

I've never seen, or even heard of, glass platters in my life.
They will do that for you. I use the nightly build. (It's called nightly)
I use nightly. Updates every day. No problem doing that.
You mean the comedian who smoked himself to death at 32?
Yeah, death by marketing. At least he knew who he was dealing with.

I'm sure I'm the exception, not the rule.
Advertising. Bill Hicks was right on the mark when he told all people working in marketing to "go kill yourself".

No, seriously, do it. If you are in marketing, go kill yourself now.
I'm not kidding

No one said that Bush and Cheney were sane.
Because denying religious people an education will make the world a safer, more peaceful and forward thinking place?
Actually educating religious people will make the world a safer place. Teach people how to think and they tend to see through scams more often.
Manufactured nut jobs.
