with only 3 gigs a month (upstream and down) the adsl and cable *unlimited* accounts are just about useless. Maybe this will force someone in the Government (who still own 51% of telstra) to do something.
Mitnick, who served nearly five years in prison, said probation officials have instructed him to find employment in a field totally unrelated to computers
What job these days doesnt have at least some interaction with a computer of some sort AND who would hire him ?
What does the Federal Government expect him to do ?

What were their grounds for requesting removal? I got a threat letter from the MPAA asking me to remove DVD related software and documentation from my web site a few weeks ago. I sent them a strongly worded response and haven't heard from them since.

Does anyone know of some decent hosts in Australia ? I am still a little sceptical about hosting overseas cause you can never really know what their rep is like being so far away
"Despite attempts to cultivate an image as a grassroots community dedicated to helping struggling independents, the average online music distributor's business model is enough to make any red-blooded record executive blush."
This one paragraph in my view basically sums up not only online distributors but the music business in general. Its all about money, the artists want some, the distributors have some and we the people have to pay through our ears to get the music.
With Microsoft possibly being broken up into smaller companies, investing in other simmiliar companies may not be the worst thing for ms. If they get their foot in the door now with these other companies, if they get broken up they can still influence technology and consumers and thus still being able sell their products sucessfully Well thats what iThink anyway
Well since this has probably been said many many times before but here goes..

But seriously does anyone really deserve to die in such a brutal mannar for sending stock/security spam, if they were child pornography spam then nothing short of what happened to them would be required
This seems like a pretty long time desipite it being only 10 hours, I mean pratically and seriously How many people are going to be moving around for 10 hours ? and if you are in a car or something I am sure the company would also have a adapter or something that plugs into the cigarette lighter
The important question thou I believe is how heavy is this going to be?
I must admit this article is a lot better than any of the other ones out there, at least they got a _expert_ (Emmanuel Goldstein) better than some lying punk ass mtv wannabe kid
What other homemade solutions are out there aside from mp3sb (which seems to be the best ive seen so far)

They have built a ethernet card on to most things these days what i propose is to put on a toilet. just think you could flush it remotely
I would rather just fork out the extra money and build one of these
60 gigs, cheap as chips and would do the job
Maxtor DiamondMax 61.4GB 5400rpm 2MB Cache Buffer 8.9ms Access Time ATA-66, 96147U8 Bulk $ 267.95
Imagine one of these in your mp3 jukebox !
Does anyone actually know what the 7 deadly sins are on thepope.org ?

What purpose does building one of these devices have apart from annoying the military or doing illegal activites ? seems rather pointless to me

Sounds very similiar to Bill Gates, you think MS would be a little more creative
They would have choosen to use representitive sizing because people can relate to these measurments rather than measurements like
32 x 24
