    In the real world - i.e. not in your room in your parent's house - people don't have their computer sitting in the living room by the TV.

    Somebody better alert Microsoft so they can recall their Media Center edition. While you are at it, you might as well inform HP customers that their Media Center PCs were not intended to be hooked up to TVs despite the TV I/O jacks and the wireless remote control.

    Scientology is a Criminal nut-cult. Although all cults are nuts, not all cults are criminal.

    Regardless of whether all cults are nuts, Scientology are clearly organized criminals masquerading as a religion (cult, by popular definition), and it is pathetic that the US allows their ridiculous charade to persist.

    If real entheogenic religions that use naturally occurring substances are denied First Amendment protection, why is such an obvious front for murder and extortion provided an undeserved safe haven under the same right?

    Dare I say: "F*** Scientology and F*** the UK (who forfeited their right to be considered a free society many years ago)?

    Paypal is one of the least secure financial sites on the internet. Not only are email addresses used as user names, there are no secondary passwords or pins for transactions, Really? What's this then?

    We are completely understaffed, under-budgeted, and flooded with horrible crimes.

    Your budgetary problems are not my concern. You will have to persuade your overlords to divert some of the billions you squander on victimless and consensual crime before I care to indulge your pleas.

    Plus, its not easy to get a search warrant. You need to satisfy probable cause in order for the judge to sign off on your warrant.

    It's not supposed to be easy to get a warrant. That's the point!

    The Second Amendment to the US Constitution is very much about an individual's right to bear arms. The view that it is reserved for the states is only held by anti-gun zealots.

    Ever wondered why gun crime in Europe is a tiny fraction of what it is in the States?

    I can assure you that the lack of firearms in the hands of honest, and law-abiding citizens is *not* the reason for lower gun crime anywhere on the planet.

    Illinois is one of the most anti-gun states, and Chicago has even more strict rules on top of that. It's almost as bad as Britain. About the only way you're going to have an armed security guard in Chicago is if he's actually a sworn law enforcement officer or you have *really* tight political connections to those in power.

    Thankfully carrying a loaded firearm in a person's fixed place of business is not illegal in the rabidly anti-gun state of Illinois.

    Does anyone know what holds MS back from adding the Multiple Desktop feature? I know it can be had with 3rd party software, however last time I used one it really slowed down my machine and caused some crashes.

    The lack of such a feature that has been around for eons in the Unix/Linux world drives me crazy! You are either full of it, or running some really underpowered hardware. My 3 year old desktop has no trouble running NVidia's multiple desktop feature (in Windows XP) w/o slowing the machine's performance, and of course Linux has no trouble w/multiple desktops either.

    I do feel however that it's everyone duty to not follow unethical or immoral laws, and if arrested for violating those laws to take it to the highest possible court they can in the hope of getting the law overturned.
