Not only does it increase press, it increases demand as well.
When they flood the market after Christmas, hopefully (from Microsoft's viewpoint), that demand will still be there and people will gobble them up.
On the other hand, it is possibly that Microsoft is trying to cut losses while getting big demand and good press, since they actually lose money on each console they sell. Therefore selling more equates to more money lost for Microsoft.

3D tube & Mario hanging from the skylight. I beg to differ.
As I see it, they have two viable solutions to their "problem"
1.) Make games that are good enough that people will want to hang on to them
or
2.) Keep putting out new material so you don't have to rely on the sales of old titles.
If you put out half-assed attempts at games, people are going to resell them. If the game isn't worth the $50 they bought it for, they are going to try to recoup their losses by making some of that money back.
I wonder if the increased brain activity causes a person to be introverted (they are more immersed in their thoughts and less concerned with the outside world) or if a person being introverted causes them to have more brain activity (they think to fill the "void" where social interaction would fit in in an extrovert)
More power just gives developers an excuse to use more resources. There is no reason a word processing program should lag on a 2+ ghz processor... but there is so much bloat in the program because software vendors feel the need to use up all that extra processing juice that it does...
controlling our gadgets using small movements of the body
Can you imagine, what if you could control a device by simply touching it with our finger? We could call it a "button."

Yes and no. Yes, the PSP does have a USB port, but it is not usable by peripheral devices yet. So far, the PSP is only able to run as a device, no host support has been uncovered yet. The only way to enable power to the USB port is to do a "USB Connection," which essentially turns your PSP into a media card reader. The only thing you can do is transfer files to it from your computer.
Hopefully a firmware update will enable OTG [On the Go] in the future so that we can use it as a host in the future.

Actually, the PSP IRC page has a keyboard that you can navigate through the arrows on your PSP, as well as allowing you to use the standard PSP dialpad.

There is something for me to see here.
Yes. Because I can.
For me it opens it in a new window regardless.

target rendezvous target, a Pentagon satelite
Can anyone say redundant? Can anyone say redundant?
And WTF is a "satelite ?"
Sorry, that was supposed to be "any" - I'm growing too accustomed to BBS's that don't allow HTML but rather use their own markup code.
Are there any honest companies left who actually care about the end user? The little guy?
The PSP "Launch Party" was a flop. Why shouldn't this be also?
