the whole idea of the graphical interface and the mouse from xerox? grrr...hypocrites...
and what does it matter? we would have *very* few innovative products today if it weren't for people ripping off other's ideas...
That they will get hacked and their lives will be ruined unless they choose good passwords. And, if they choose a bad one, break it, fakely ruin their life so they understand the seriousness of it. Done. It won't ever happen again.
I have been with opera since I can remember, and I've loved it always. I'm on 8 beta at the moment, but will soon be upgrading. The experience is FAR superiour to what firefox could EVER provide, not to mention the thin appearance and customizability. Web pages show up as about 98% of my screen, not like 90% that you can get with ff. *shudder*. Plus, I hate, I despise, even, having the tab list and the address bar at the top. Mine is, and always will be, at the bottom. SO much better. Wow.
I live in a very well off area in Vancouver, Canada.
Technology in my high school is a waste of time. Classes exist so people can learn to use MS Word. We run on Windows 2000. The programming classes learn what a variable is. And the machines available for homework are used mostly for games. All the history/socials/humanities rooms in my high schol have gigantic television screens that are *never* used. And guess what? Somehow, we manage to be short 300 math textbooks because there isn't enough money to buy them. Wow. I'm a geek, but seriously, get the technology OUT of my damn school!
how is this different than in north america? I thought we already logged everything and kept it for longer than ten years?
except for being in the form of a "law", this is nothing new. the same stuff is being done "legally" here anyhow. big deal.
okay, so that's not totally true, but for all intents and purposes, it is. and what isn't propaganda is mostly shows for stupid people ("lets see who'll get voted off the island next!") or for people who need to be told what they like ("you'll love this new mccdonalds deal").
what else can you expect of a film? if you don't like what it's done to the novels, then don't go see it. simple. it happens with virtually all films that are made from literature.

it's been too long waiting already, damn it!
Yeah, sure, AMD comes out with a new shiny product. Wow. But we all know that when we want our stability, we go to intel.

Time for a massive download, an angry ISP, and a lot of waiting. Pizza and coke are on the way!
Shouldn't we help them out with the things they need most in the developing world, rather than technology?
If you buy so many pencils that you can't afford paper, then yes, I say you show throw some of the pencils away.
