Well first off I wasn't making an argument I was making a humorous post about a subject. and most tech's know to stay away from companies like that. For your information I am 29 and at the time of that posting I was in my shop holding a wire feed with one hand and typing with the other reading/. Waiting for my air compressor to fill up. so spelling was not one of my intentions.

I know what you mean G4 sucks. It was a tech channel and they turned it in to a gaming channel. The only reson the got it was so they could get satlite viewers. They planed on killing TechTV from the begining
And another side affect, the sites your visiting will close down because they don't make any ad revenue.
Fighting the system in this case I don't think is worth the side affect. It will not be much longer before the idea of free content on line will no longer exist because of ad blocking software. Thats ok as long as you don't mind paying to visit every website.
Just think if every site you go to charges say.25 then if you surf allot you will be in the hole about $800 a month or so. I think I will just not block the ads.The problem is people like you are going to destroy it for everyone else.

For real dude if you don't want people to use the 768 pipe then don't give it to them. Put a cap on your speed and then people we go to another company that will not wine about using what they pay for.

We pay for the dam banwith. I am sick and tired of ISP's that offer high speed internet and then get pissed if you use it. To us we are not wasting it if we are using WHAT WE PAY FOR.
How the hell do they know if its men or women visiting. I guess adware running on those users systems. I think companys should be arrested just for publishing findings like that
Its the whole AMD / Intel thing. If performance was all about MHz then Intels would be faster processors but its common knowledge the AMD's are faster CPU's and they are clocked slower.
And about the Hacker thing. I hate it when news people use the word Hacker to talk about someone breaking the law. Its not fair and its not the definition of what they are referring to. Its just politically correct because Cracker has two meanings It can be a person that cracks technology for piracy or some other form of law breaking or it can be a racial term used to call a white person.
The fact is if every news source started calling serial killers "Doctors" the medical profession would be up in arms screaming but its not ok for Hackers to scream about the misrepresentation of there hobby.
This however is not true. The hassle comes after the purchase with DRM and most people stop using the service shortly after finding out there restrictions.
I agree and I also have not spent a dime on a DVD or CD in the last few years. I do however shop at AllofMP3.com becuse they sell music the way it sould be sold.
Would love to but I have yet to find a patch for steam. I would love to buy the game. In fact I would pay twice what there selling it for, but I would never buy a game that has copy protection like that on it. I am on 9k dial up for the time being and I play all my games off line.

Ads make information free. The way it should be. Micro payments are a stupid idea that is only around to make rich people richer.
