Why are you comparing the people that smoke everyday to people who drink in moderation when determining the health risk of each? Shouldn't you be comparing the people with similar usage? While alcohol in moderation is safer than weed everyday, it is still more unhealthy than weed in moderation.

"The problem with that platform is, there's no standards and piracy is rampant, so why would we want to make a video game for that platform unless you had some sort of draconian DRM thing to keep it from being stolen?"

The problem is that the draconian DRM isn't keeping it from being pirated. Pirates get to play free while us paying customers sometimes don't get to play what we payed for. The system is inherently broken, and it's starting to push toward a trend of 'rented game licenses'. By pushing DRM, you are only hurting your paying customers.

  7. Re:lansweeper on Best Tools For Network Inventory Management? · · Score: 1

This is something we implemented around here, but won't be used long because our new policy management software will provide the same function. A few things, though : 1) The agent isn't really considered an agent. It loads briefly (I've never seen it run for more than a second) and immediately terminates. All it does is tell the server "I'm here, scan me" 2) Lansweeper has a paid-for Premium version. It includes several tools, and more recently the ability to scan more than one domain (this use to be a free feature). One of the tools enables active scanning (no more 'agent'). 3) You need a Windows domain to use it. 4) If you know SQL/databases and web programming, it's fairly easy to customize.

In regards to the part about the candy, this actually sounds like a Red 40 problem to me. Red 40 is a dye used in alot of foods that makes children VERY hyperactive. My mother has actually filtered the Red 40 out of my 9 year old little brother's diet, and he behaves alot better. Do some research on it.
