    The argument isn't that women aren't strong enough it's that they aren't encouraged to use that strength to get into the sciences, seesh. Its worth noting that women successfully entered and became the majority in a fair amount of male dominated fields when sexism was far more pervasive. So why aren't women repeating history? Could it be as a whole it's thought the sciences aren't worth breaking into? So how to increase desire? I'd think quotas would create a generation of male scientists who'd default to looking at their female colleagues as unworthy. Even if this evens up the field is it worth several generations thinking there's objective proof women can't do science because otherwise why would they need government help? I personally rather focus solely on encouraging females to desire the sciences so that they can handle whatever sexism remains in the field, and lessen any male prejudices by showing an increasing amount of equally competent women.

    If I may stretch the job analogy a bit, how many people choose to be their own boss? In both cases, not a lot. One can choose to not use Flash (Your job/bank demands it? Get another job/bank.), and course use a more open video card.

    I was under the impression the protests were mostly about worries that U.S beef safety regulations were insufficient. Since if memory serves that was the reason why beef trade with the U.S was halted in the first place.

    There are ads that are 30 seconds though... Also, I seem to be getting a whole lot of ads for feminine products. For god sakes I'm watching Babylon 5! Methinks they should consider the gender demographics for that fanbase.

    Awesome bar is fine, I just wish it didn't start a search with just ONE letter. That means that typing "c" gets me every single .com site I've been to, and slows down my (rather crappy) machine for a few seconds. It'll be great if I could set the default to don't search until 2 or more letters are typed.

    An ISO loader doesn't sound very useful considering how many if not most Wii games would be too big to fit inside SD cards. One wonders if this hack would theoredically make it possible to play games from DVDRs aka. "backup" games. If you don't want to answer since my question is somewhat supporting piracy I totally understad (though if it means anything I don't have, or desire a WII).

    Skepticism isn't just being stubborn, it's all about how and why you're stubborn. The reasons one doubts xyz is what defines a skeptic from say a obstinate Scientologist who refuses to accept his/her faith as irrational, to a person who thinks theory xyz needs more research data. This isn't philosophical finery, just common usage of the word.

    How can one be objective about how enjoyable a game is? A reviewer IS supposed to mix somewhat "objective" values like graphics, and ultimately note how much THEY liked playing the game. How exactly would one write an objective (something that is always true irrelevant to humans views) review anyways?

    In theory it'll make it easier to ID people if they cause a scene during the games. If someone causes a scene and gets away, instead of trying to ID their face without any leads (execept he/she looked like ethnicity x) they can just search the Olympic database. Course it does nothing for basic terrorism where one acts quickly w/o caring about the consequences, but China doesn't have much trouble in that area.
