I love when people accentuate phrases in sentences by using caps; it makes their argument so much more persuasive.

Somebody's been reading Red Mars recently; just because "science fiction" has science in the title, doesn't mean that any of the ideas explained are at all feasible.

Support does not solely consist of help desk, mind you. Often companies need a product to be tailored to their particular needs, and who better to do the tailoring than the company that originally conceived the product? You see, now companies are being paid to constantly evolve a product, instead of seeing how long they can capitalize on a stagnant one, for want of larger profit margins.

So this DRM stuff will actually help Linux...good call. I searched far and wide for a DRM-less music store, because I loathe DRM (I am constantly swapping files between computers and portable music players - why deal with the drm bs?). I bet there are plenty with my same opinion. Now a DRM OS? No thank ya, linux for me!

So, have those wonderful people at Microsoft gotten around to making their browser compliant with, well, every other modern browser? Or did they just slap on some more goodies without actually fixing their notorious browser? I mean, does anyone else get fed up with having one stylesheet for IE and another for everything else?

Okay, and how easy is it to update shit on windoze? I seem to remember back in the days when I was an idiot (i.e.: when I used M$ shit) that, to update anything, I had to go to the website of whatever software I had and get the updates myself, double-click my idiot-icon, and pray it didn't bork everything to shit. Now, I type two commands:
    emerge --sync
    emerge -Davu world
Wow, could it be that doing system administration in Linux is easier? I'm sure your dumbass will come back by saying "But I bet you can't do that with just your mouse!!!!!" Well, unlike most windoze users, I am capable of pressing many buttons in sequence, as opposed to two or three. So piss off noob, and go cry to your fellow know-nothings. Oh yeah, I almost forgot; before you throw windoze update in my face, don't forget that it only works for the O/S, not every application you have installed. Noob.
