Extensions get automatically disabled when they exceed the "maxversion" value, this is so they don't end up trying to work in an environment they are not designed for. Current extensions might say 3.5.*, so they'll be disabled when Firefox 4 comes out. They should then update the extension to work with the new version of FF.
maxversion 9.*.* essentially means never disable me.

I just read this as saying that the US & Europen region DVDs won't have Japanese soundtracks. Presumably there has been/will be a Japanese region disc, with Japanese audio.
>Owwww...I spilled coffee on my lap! I didn't know it's that hot!
I think that the case then (McDonalds) was that: a) they'd already been warned that the coffee was too hot more than once b) the woman got 3rd(?) degree burns, which you shouldn't get from coffee
(b) gives you dangerous behaviour, (a) gives you negligence.
>I use Linux on an Alpha platform and would like to run Star Office, if only to read the Word documents that people tend to like mailing out these days.
I thought that too, but the Sparc/Solaris version doesn't do that wonderful a job of reading MS files.
Presumably the license is the only thing giving you rights to use the code. Therefore in the absence of a license basic copyright will apply, so you have no right to use the source at all.

'One day' is not very far away: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-47715415

Wait a bit and but it used.
You could do some serious video effects with an array of these babies. ...like, perhaps, really good looking games?

I'd say that sounded pretty serious to me...
There's discussion of this topic in comp.arch.fpga too.
There'll be a dreamcast mouse soon too.

Maybe that's why they use the word minor - you can take whatever definition is used locally?
