forgot about the spy - only ever used them to attack radar domes.. also i was always paranoid and surrounded my radar domes with sandbags so the other people at the lan couldn't do the same..
i'd say its safe to assume it's also still in the very experimental stage.. personally i like the tried and tested ways that have nearly guaranteed results.
if the risk is only for "punctured" batteries then i agree this is fud and nothing but media sensationalism (which it is a good bit no mater what).
What interests me.. is to find out that there is a chance that a non punctured battery that experienced shock can catch fire later, and the chances of that happening would be of concern to me. That is something worth having a discussion about..
other than that.. this is "stabbing an electrical storage device might not be in your best interest, news at 11"
sorry missed that - kept seeing the lack of due process and didn't see that they had a warrant.. although it might be questionable if the warrant should have ever been given.. but i doubt a judge would rule against another judge on that.
Contractors receive a 1099 and employees receive a W-2. There are very strict guidelines for the difference between a contractor and an employee. If you worked full time for said company over a period of time and that was the only client you did work for they can be fined for not hiring you as an employee.
Contractors are to be hired for a specific service - they may pay you an hourly rate and a contracted quantity but they can't dictate the hours work on it.
me too.. rather than when it's parked in my garage while i'm asleep or away from the house.. when an accident happens you have first response units - you have everyone on the lookout for a dangerous situation.
people get hurt not because of a danger - but because of lack of awareness.. when people become complacent and ignore the danger then people get hurt.
a U2 is superior to a satellite for for short term recon. the Drones are supposed to replace the U2, one of the requirements is that the Drones be cheaper over all than the current U2 fleet.
in fact the SR71 was to be the U2's replacement.. but it's operating costs where so high it was taken out of service and the U2 continues even today.
to me it isn't so much as because it's "new" but rather because it is delayed.. in a normal car wreck if you have a fire it happens then.. not 3 weeks after the car was repaired.
I'd agree there is zero worry if it takes a puncture of the battery pack to cause this as that should be caught in inspection before it is sent out as repaired. what does bother me is the chance of it happening with the battery pack only experiencing a physical shock with zero outside indicators of damage. I want to know the real % chances of that happening.. if it is 50% then we have a problem.. my bet though is this isn't really an issue..
the SR71 was rendered obsolete because it was expensive.. it was to be the replace ment for the U2 but failed to be cheaper than keping the U2 (which is why the U2 is still in service).
Both the U2 and the SR71 are useful compared to satellites because they can be dispatched to an area for information far quicker than a satellite. (and cheaper for short term recon).
the Drones are the replacement for the U2.. so far they are falling behind - one of the requirements of them - is that they are cheaper than the U2 program. (only time will tell with that one).
But the high and fast are feature+ for the U2 over the current drones.. Most missile systems are not able to identify and shoot down a U2 before it leaves the missiles operating range. (if you look at the U2's that where shot down, several of them went down not because a missile made contact but because the light air-frame broke up at altitude from the shock waves of the missiles blowing up lower int the atmosphere)
one of the other fun ones is as a contractor the company can't dictate your work schedule (aka what hours you have to be there).. but they can dictate what hours you have access to a facility.. too many times i see this abused as being the exact same but different terms.. (you are only paid for work conducted on site and only have access 8-6)
considering all atoms have some half life and there for are in some way radio active i'd have to say no.. but if you don't consider normal every day stuff radioactive then i'd point you at Plutonium 244

wasn't it "structure captured, new construction options"?
given our track record i would hide too
given the amount of money the argument would go against.. only more cash could win.
once is an honest mistake - maybe even twice.
but a systematic pattern isn't.
doubtful - in the macro world - the larger the engine the more efficient it is ..
this is so close to the truth it hurts - i wish i had mod points today
thank you very much

yes - but how often do you see a judge ruling against another judge on issuing a warrant? especially at the fed level.

1040 is the IRS individual tax form

but here they didn't have a warrant - and there wasn't any probable cause.
This was taken with zero due process - therefor should not fall under previous court rulings.

but the IRS states you can't set working ours for contractors but rather employees.
we should just go back to U2's and SR71's .. fly high and fast enough that they don't' have a chance to get you
(yes i'm aware that some U2's where shot down, but they have a hell of a flight record)
theses are freelance contractors - the computer they use is not provided by the client (most of the time)

well now that the Twitter archive is part of the Library of Congress it can only reflected as a portion of the Library of Congress.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plutonium-244
with a half-life of ~80 million years the radio activity from it would be very minimal
