As more and more people use or talk about Google, and the iPod, I think his kids will use those products and keep it a secret from their father who has a slight problem: "I Can't let my kids use other people's Good products!" He prolly won't let 'em use Linux or Mac OSX either.

F-ing Microsoft. Now apple will probably follow and then two major OSes will be able to communicate to each other and leave the better free operating systems in the mud.
If Microsoft pulls out of the PC buisness, will Apple lower their prices? I think they might since more people would buy it, being the only "preinstalled" OS. Yet if more companies embrace Linux and sell preinstalled versions of it and it becomes much more popular....

I still own my the first computer I ever owned. An AMD 2300+ 1.58 GHZ Sempron from 2004.
The first computer I ever used was an old bondwell (I don't even remember the specs), with (BOOO!) DOS. That thing still runs today too.
Ah, well, I'm not too worried. If I need to send anything personal I'll use GPG.

You can be safer by using avast it has great virus detection and has a IDS. It's also free.
Now I use linux but my parent's computer has avast and it's blocked several people and caught and removed every virus.
