What about the millions of people that cannot view 3d? I do not have "Stereo vision" and lack the ability to use the cool looking glasses. I have watched 3d movies in the past and they struck me as somewhat fuzzy om the edges.
I bet it will be used by advertisers to batch targeted VM's to 10 million phones for only pennies/msg. This technology is useless for anything other than selling advertising.
I have tested this on my car. I scratched my windshield and now can Photonic Drive. My car is not any faster but when the light hits the scratches its very groovy in a photonic way...
You mean they actually have product reviews in PC Magazine? Last time I looked it was a collection of ads and the subscription info was used to generate a never ending stream of Spam.
We deployed Aruba wireless Access points that give you location based access 2 years ago. An Electronic fence as it were. It does not solve the problem of eavesdropping and I think encryption is the only solution to limit that type of "Hack". The paper is interseting but obvious in its arguments.
I tested my Treo 700 phone against my old Motorola "Brick" and it took the same amount of time to dial a phone number. Why not compare Univac to Deep Blue? Cmon I expect better from/. .
