    The "fire in a crowded area" bit is a lame piece of sophistry. The right to bear arms is not the right to shoot people. The right to freedom of expression is not the right to ignore the consequence of your words.

    Freedom of expression does not mean freedom from responsibility.

    You fail at logic.

    If both disk are 50% full, density is irrelevant. The heads needs to travel the same distance - and it's not half the disk. Try ~70% = 1/2^(1/2).

    The ending of PotC: DMC wasn't supposed to provide any closure. It was a teaser, pure & simple, for the 3rd PotC movie.

    It's exactly like the season finale of episodic work - TV show, webcomic, movie series, etc...

    The cable company pays access fee to the content providers (i.e. the channels), so offering more channels = paying more fees = charging a high rate. The content providers supplement the usage revenue with advertising revenue exactly like print magazines do.

    Whining about it shows a rather significant economic illiteracy.

    Do you whine about advertising in the print magazines you purchase?

    There is a difference between basic cable (sci-fi channel, the food network, comedy central, etc...) and premium cable (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc...). One is subsidized by advertising while the other is more expensive and is external ad (i.e. they still promote themselves) free.

    A mob can be easily created by a silent weapon that leaves no traces and can quickly agitate a peaceful assembly.
