Am I missing something? If I owned this company and saw that amount of traffic going to my servers I'd be thinking this:
1) Add advertising for whoever will pay for it to the front page
2) ??? - Oh wait, we know this step!
3) Profit!!!!
I suspect they'd be making a whole lot more money than they do selling tubes. (though I suppose if they really want to keep doing that they could)
If the domain name is such a burden I'd be more than happy to take it off their hands. On second thought... uh.. yeah, forget that, it's a bad idea *contacting utube to see how much they'd sell their domain for. The $$$ is MINE, I thought of it first, hands off!* Um, just forget I said anything..
Let's see.. difficult problems, lack of examples (you mean it's NOT all laid out for me?! The HORROR!), heavy work load (no life), and high expectations. Uhm, if he's complaining about this in his education, what does he think the actual jobs are like once he graduates? As I like to say "It takes a special kind of insanity to do this kind of work". You have to love it, that's it. The money isn't worth it. If you're doing it for the money you're going to be absolutely miserable. He made the right decision to switch majors.

If we're worried about them, why are they free roaming about in public?
If we're not worried about them, why are we keeping track of them?
You've either served your time/been rehabilitated or you haven't. All this wishy washy stuff is just a band-aid.
