That would be a pretty terrible business decision for them. They want the community making mods for NWN 2 when it comes out, not playing with the source of NWN 1.

No doubt a hefty chunk of the cost will come from that most valuable of commodities - time. Upgrade for windows: free. Upgrade for *nix routes: free. Cost for paying a large workforce to patch the entire network infrastructure of a major country: $25-75 Billion.

The Boston Tea party did not protest against a democratic and elected government, but against a monarch taxing unrepresented citizens. Ahhhh, so a government ignore protests from the electorate as long as its democratic and elected. Thank you for clearing this up for me.

I'm sick of American's using the "Europe is great eh, what about gassing all those jews, eh?". Guess what, people learn from their mistakes occaisonally. Nearly all German schoolkids visit the camps. Why? To hammer into them the fact that when we prattle on about "human rights" it's to make damn sure it never happens again. Europe's history is steeped in blood, I like to think we've learned from it.

Some yes. For most people it's more that they would rather scheme and steal $10 instead of making $1 honestly.
