You seem to be mistaken.
California has a deficit of about 27 billion [reuters.com] the US (before counting any war costs) has a deficit of 50 to 200 billion [reuters.com].
You seem to have a low level of reading comprehension. I said "US States" not "United States". This would mean the states not country's deficit combined. California is only cutting the rate of growth of its programs. Nice try, Davis still sux.
Why is the solution to all Governmental budget crisises is to find new and creative ways of nickle and dimeing citizens no matter what they do? Gov. Davis has sunk California into a massive deficit that its is larger than the rest of the US states, combined! Socking the California citizen in the pocketbook because of his poor management.
If my family has a budget crisis, we cut expenses. You can't always get more money but you can always find places to not to spend it. When Government says its cutting spending, it generally means they are cutting the rate of growth not its actual size.
Too bad this will never happen. Too many people are interested in taking other people's money for their own causes and politicians are more than happy to assist -- both parties.
Yes you do as I! But do you exist in a 300 psi 100% Nitrogen environment surrounded by 32 ply rubber being super heated by friction? That is question...
I personally think that a tire exploded on the left side of the Shuttle causing a massive failure in the left wing. Since the re-entry generates so much heat and the moment the tragedy occurred was its high point, some sort of heat resistant material most have failed and allowed the 300 psi, nitrogen-filled tire to expand to explosive levels. Michelin makes all of the tires used on the Shuttle fleet.
Beyond the obvious tragedy of the loss of bright and shining lives, 13 lab rats were also lost in the breakup of the Shuttle Columbia. There were apart of a heart and brain study. They were to be guillotined once back on earth. There was an article on the Washington Post about it but beacuse of the omniously poorly worded title, "Columbia Streaks Toward Florida Landing", they pulled it. Google News still has it listed.
1) Anything you cannot identify would be "Unidentified".
2) Nothing can fly in space because there is no atomosphere therefor it cannot be a "Flying Object".
Move along, nothing to see here just a picture of a Christmas Hershey Kiss in space. Just because of bunch of Spaniards can't figure out what is in a bunch of pictures does not mean its ET. Plus, why would aliens visit Earth? Are we really that interesting?
Military ordnance is not intended to WORK - it is intended to make profits for defense industry corporations who bribe Congress and the DOD for contracts...
What, are they going to do? Run around with mirrors and keychain laser pointers?
You're right. The US Military is scary...in a good way. They adapt to a fluid battlefield fairly quickly. There isn't an Iraqi General in their right mind that thinks they can beat the USA.
Is there some inherent technical problem with using an 802.11b device to stream the music?
No. In fact, there is a product on the market that can stream music in three different wireless paths, 802.11b, 802.11g and bluetooth, along with gigabit ethernet. The system uses an open source operating system, you can address it via http, ssh, X11 or you can roll your own access system, its portable, has a fold-out LCD screen and is so thin, it can fit under a typical AV receiver. You can read more about it here.
I figure Google is a good filter to judge OS popularity. The last stats for OSes used to search Google are here. At least MacOS beats Windows 95. Linux was 1%. I am sure most Linux users are like me, its a Server Operating System not our choice for a Desktop. MacOS X and even Windows XP have a better User Experience than GNOME or KDE -- RedHat 8.0 w/ Bluecurve almost has the idea -- close but no cigar.
It appears that their site is powered by deteriorating web servers. Either that, or Decasia figured I would say not nice things about deterioration and sent my browser a "Forbidden". Who still reads "The Times" anymore for art? Passe.

So, what you are saying, is that by coverting from MP3 to Ogg saved your 600MB of space on your hard drive. With 7200rpm, 80 gig IDE drives costing around $100, you just saved yourself 50 cents! Equiv to the cost of one CD from Staples in the generic 50 CD spindle.
In the numerous times I have read threads on the RIAA, a common train of thought is that the RIAA should be going after the distribution of truely "pirated" music in the form of sale of physical media at a profit. Not the masses of P2P downloaders ripping their own CDs -- its ok, they bought the album but just lost it or their friend has it and they are going to riding with you in the car some day. Going after the retailers and the media duplicators is the right thing for the RIAA to do. I think its in their best interest PR-wise to do so and drop the Internet outrage. Their exaggeration of the number of CD burners was laughable, however. They counted a fast CD burner as more than 1 CD Burner based on its burn rate faster than 4x.
The RIAA and MPAA could make a fortune just walking down the streets of downtown Manhattan. Every block has someone selling first-run movies on video and the latest, "hot" CDs on a card table. This would keep them busy for a long, long time.

Windows Refund Day II

· Score: 2
Those passive sheeple that prefer to bear unfair treatment if that means not to be inconvinienced.
Look wise guy, there are many reasons why you may need a certain computer without Windows. I let you to figure those ones out since I am sure your IQ comprises at least double figures.
My God, do want some cheese with that whine? If you are going to claim in a post that I have a low IQ at least spell check it.
If the companies involved in the deal did not offer you any possibility whatsoever to return the OS, well and dandy, but they are binding themselves to give you your money back if you don't accept their terms.
So if you buy a car and you don't like the engine that comes with it, you think you are going to get the dealer to refund you the cost of it?
Quit your bitchin' and don't buy a product that comes with Windows.

Most people would think it was "orbiting".

It works.
What, are they going to do? Run around with mirrors and keychain laser pointers?

RIAA Representative: Reply to this message with collection details. Thanks!
What about USB digital audio? No crappy humming noise like the line-out. I use it all the time for amazing sound.

Neither Morse or binary code have letters. Dots, dashes, ones and zeros but no vowels or constanants. Picky, picky.
Merry Christmas...
Good job getting that plug in!

Rock On!
You guys are all supposed to be using Ogg anyways! That way you can act like you are a snooty audiophile anytime a MP3 story is posted...

But I also use Linux and *BSD. So where does that leave me?
Excuse me, but everyday is TOUPSIE DAY according to my calendar...
