Vista's requirements are not that higher than XP, something released years ago, it's just that if you want, you can use more of your system to get a prettier interface. If they didn't do this, slashdoters would be complaining that their system is unused and windows uses ancient technology.
Don't allow the user to execute email attachments. You know if this was a virus/worm/trojan for linux slashdot would be pretty quick to write up that current versions aren't affected. But they get off on the 500 "oh noes I'm going to switch right now" posts, which if half were true, Mac and linux wouldn't be at 3 and 1 percent market share..
I never said nanotech was required for redundancy, so stop putting words in my mouth. I merely said it would be used with nanotech if necessary.
Thermal energy is not a risk to molecular nanotech (see the books "nanosystems" and "unbounding the future" by K. Eric Drexler), nanomachines can be shielded against radiation and contamination is easily dealth with by molecular machines built to remove unwanted substances. It seems zero failure machines are possible.
Molecular Nanotech gives the ability to place every atom where it is needed, therefore it should be possible to design machines with zero failure rates, or rates so low that through redundancy failure can be avoided.
You sound like you haven't heard of molecular nanotechnology, have you? It could quite possibly make machines without defects and hence zero failure rates. With it you should be able to survive till the end of the universe (whatever that is).
I don't see why people say dying is human. It begs the question, what kinds of dying are human then? Is polio human in your mind, and was the cure bad? If it wasn't a bad thing to cure it, then why should it be bad to cure cancer, aids, and aging? Besides if you want to die after all these things have been cured, I don't think anyone's going to stop you.
"Half of brain go bye bye.
Go lay down, that's your option."
Actually I read of a girl in India who had that happen to her and she recovered quite well and is actually normal I think, not too long ago.
But your point is taken, brain trama will be the last thing conquered.
thinks it'll happen much sooner than that, you can read his prediction in his book, "Engines of Creation", which is posted online by him at www.foresight.org/EOC .
I searched for "podcast wmp" because I figured it was some plug-in software for WMP, which I'd rather use than iTunes, I'll go try your sugguested search, but I hope I don't need another media player for it.
That's not true, Toshiba recently said unification talks between BD and HD were "a waste of time" and that nothing has come from them yet.
http://www.i4u.com/article3416.html is a link that describes how no unification progress was made. The initial claim that there was a successful unification were exaggerated it seems.

Dude, that's not a real quote, it's an urban myth.
Such a retarded troll, microsoft.com runs on windows servers, so does hotmail and msn, which get far more traffic than any OSS site probably.
Why don't you sugguest one since you're so smart? What's that you say? You're a full of shit bitch just trolling? That's what I thought.
Does insulting windows make you feel cool? Cuz, it sure is getting old..
Right, 'cause the windows servers running microsoft.com hardly see any action...
Bill Gates never said that, google the web for 640 and urban myths.
"he did not mistakes when giving speeches."
Nice grammar considering what a dummy you believe GWB to be. What's that you say? You made a mistake? Well no shit, that's what humans do, isn't it?
Must be difficult to live with the originality that must ooze from your very pores..
Why, is that where you live?
What age would you like to die then? And if we're all living forever and happy are you still going to commit suicide?

If we had technology to brain dump, don't you think we'd have robots doing all the work, chicken little?

Maybe I wasn't clear. I tried iPodder and it doesn't do anything with the xml files, so what do I need to click on those and have them work?
I searched for "podcast wmp" because I figured it was some plug-in software for WMP, which I'd rather use than iTunes, I'll go try your sugguested search, but I hope I don't need another media player for it.
but I couldn't find out what kind of software I need for this xml and podcasting to work, can anyone enlighten me?
Not if a sith said it, though one did not.
