    As far as I can own Microsoft, I can made decisions and participate, I go with Microsoft, I TRUST Microsoft, its public company, they are the authority, they are real word company employing real ppl doing their jobs, and doing their jobs well.

    On the other side there are some "shady" consorciums that act like internet law makers claiming "we have the truth", "we made standards", this makes me sick to the bone. Do not even think I will ever obey that rules of theirs and god bless MS for dumping and kicking them.

    Let winners make standards not losers.

    There is and will always be an option to create software wave-out device instead of "SBLive" for example and dump waves out. Another easy solution is wave-out captioning, and that is well possible to do in EVERY Windows based PC I know (I use it ordinarily). Player hack is an option too as player also is a software. There is no way of protecting audio now unless hardware and OS changes fundamentally.
