Some people say CSI created the world. We're just the playback of an intricate global surveillance network's recording. Only mirrored for clarity. And enhanced.
Yes, security, search and spam are three obvious problems, but you usually find what you need with Google, you can reference individual posts and the format is intuitive (rows are posts cols are types).
Good luck with that. There are forums at actual scientific journal websites that that don't always meet those qualifications. Half the time when I've tried to have a logical discussion on/. someone causes it to devolve into meaningless bickering over inconsequential details, or derisive ad-hominem attacks; even from people who should know better.
You're way off topic, but perhaps you're just trolling.
The fact of the matter is that robots.txt is a well-known convention that predates the Google image search, and was created to handle just these type of situations.
I should add 'moron' in there, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Now you know.
Windows Update in Vista and newer sometimes does the same thing if there is an update for the wireless card (especially Atheros) in optional updates.
How about that? "I can see an update for your wireless card. Let me disable all internet access for you!"
Disabling WU may not help. Instead remove the Atheros card in device manager, reboot, go online and get the latest driver (your card should now show as a Qualcomm device in dev man).
I've started doing this on all atheros wifi cards as a preventive measure.
You are not arguing. First guy said Sims are almost as good as reality (but without reference to what aspects), second says Sims are not reality (mistaking the former as an argument of identity), third guy says Sims are useful for training.
If you want to be arguing, let me suggest that the first guy says Sims is teh shit and better, even, than reality because it is cheapest. He suggests this cost-cutting measure to end wars once and for all.
The second guy is a fighter pilot, spares no expense, and argues that Sims don't actually deal with anything, let alone our well-armed enemies and the sun.
The third guy thinks both of the other guys miss the mark completely, because we're actually brain-in-vats e.g. a simulation of our own, and he, for one, welcomes our simulating overlords!
The truth is, that Google can find you even when you're actively trying not to be seen.
For instance, my Android is not tied up to my regular Gmail account, but I bet Google knows just by browsing habits. (Yes, Android and Gmail are both Google products; but they are the best and cheapest.)
People think about what they "share" in terms of the explicit. But it's knowing the implicit information that is really valuable to Google and Facebook, and scariest for the users.
So it's more like people not knowing what they are agreeing to. It's a problem for individual rights and will become a problem for democracy (if or when Google bevlvomes a Govt agency).
By focusing on colour with regards to crime we are creating the expectations 1. cops should chase coloured people because they have probably done something wrong, and 2. coloured people should be less respectful of the law, because society expects it from them. Supply and demand.
Notably, social studies on slavery shows that slaves view themselves as/identify themselves as slaves because everyone around them expects it from them.
One step in the right direction could be to treat people as individuals, so that the media should not report ethnicity of perpetrators, because it has little to do on individual basis (which incidentally is the basis of law).
So you are saying that the majority of inmates being coloured has nothing to do with their committing a crime, which we must assume is the case*, but the overall apartheid like situation in a country where non-WASPs are systematically less fortunate with regards to health, education, economy and overall opportunities?
You are smarter than I thought.
(*If we don't assume people are convicted on solid evidence we have a 2nd problem to deal with after taking care of the most pressing issues.)
The reason for a majority of "fatherless" pregnancies is not the lack of marriage but because they weren't planned, in a country where prevention (sex ed) and abortion are frowned upon.
Planned pregnancy is a major enabler for social equality and there are plenty of projects and studies on the topic in third world countries other than the US.
I hear you, but testing on VMs I've found OpenSUSE to be the only distro making KDE feel native. (And OpenSUSE, for some reason, won't let me play in Wine.)
Are there any distros/ themes you could recommend? (I'm toying with the idea of going back to Slack where things make sense.)
Not in the US at all. If this is a school of strategy and politics, then I don't understand why they call it cheating. Pragmatically, a good politician is a good actor.
I have 8 books remaining on this semester's to-order list, and only 2 of them require more than 1 chapter in the curriculum. (16 books total this semester but I'm out of cash.)

Seriously?

The model isn't broken.

You're an asshole, Jane.

Happens a lot in ornithologist groups' websites: "chicks with cocks" and hi-res pictures of "tits in the spring" aso.
What?
Errrrr!
Right question: What's the noise the Machine that goes Bing! makes?
Bing for 100$.
What is the last name of the Chandler character in the insanely popular sitcom called Friends?

For the record, I'm a philosopher.

Sshh!
But user vlm is one hell of a pilot, sir!
Yes, but submitted by "cylonlover"? Shouldn't trust him.
Exactly this. There is an obvious conflict of interest here, that few people talk about.

What's not to like?
Ehm, the thought of a billion dollar corporation specializing in data mining and -capitalization keeping tabs on citizens since their childhood?
It should always be opt-in.
That's because you jailbroke the phone _with the aim of running_ trivial tweaks.
There are legitimate reasons for jailbreaking. Yours is hardly one, by your own statement, and consequently off topic.

Razor-qt trumps both of them on old hardware, but is still in development.

It's that rotating cube he's talking about. EPIC!
Classics are written today as well, you dolt.
+ 1 for students!

PDF would be even better.
