    FYI if you're planning on building a PVR from this how-to, the motherboard they've chosen has known issues with the ivtv drivers. The ivtv drivers power cards like the Hauppauge PVR-XXX series which are very popular in the PVR world (I know because I use a PVR-150).

    Seems kind of fishy to me that Microsoft released a "Color Module" security update right after the zlib vulnerability is released. Hey, at least they're not THAT obvious about "borrowing code".

    Stick with nVidia, especially if you're running an OS other than Windows. ATI drivers in Linux still stink.
