Could somebody explain to me what those black dots are in the animation? Also, does anybody else think that the probe is visible a frame or two before impact in the upper left corner? or is that just some anomaly?

He worked his ASS off. I mean I couldn't believe how much he practised, at least 2 hours a night usually more.
I think i read this in the comments above or somewhere. "Practice makes perfect, but in reality many people end up perfecting their mistakes"

There is a book out called Effortless Mastery and It's written by jazz pianist Kenny Werner. A very good read for anybody, not just musicians. I highly recommend it if this topic interests you.
From Amazon "Werner, a masterful jazz pianist in his own right, uses his own life story and experiences to explore the barriers to creativity and mastery of music, and in the process reveals that 'Mastery is available to everyone,' providing practical, detailed ways to move towards greater confidence and proficiency in any endeavor. While Werner is a musician, the concepts presented are for every profession or life-style where there is a need for free-flowing, effortless thinking."
No coach thinks raw talent alone will win the olympics, it takes practice, practice, practice, and more practice.
I think that it does take some raw talent or inate ability in order TO practice. At the end of the day it is practice that gets you somewhere, not talent, but I think that some are more talented at practicing than others.
sure they could sell more copies of os X, but then wouldnt they lose some profits from those who would'nt but their hardware and run it on some other machine?
is it illegal if you invite a trespasser onto your property? Is he then no longer trespassing? Hmmm...
I say if somebody left their front door wide open, then people (mainly theives) will see it as an 'invitation' to go inside just like how you see an unprotected network as an 'invitation' to use it. To paraphrase, "Hey, I want YOU in my house, because I didn't tell you NOT to get in my house by protecting it." Yes I know that entering the house is illegal, im just trying to show that the principles are the same.
I feel that it was right to criminally punish the man, maybe not arrest him. He was using something that he wasn't paying for (and something that wasnt free to the owners). Imagine if somebody walked into an unlocked house (open connection) and started using their water or used their phone or DSL line, would this be behaviour where law enforcement is needed? Of course! There would be penalties for trespassing for the latter, but the crimes are pretty much the same. However, to many people, only one of those crimes is actually seen as a crime.
Umm...yeah, because the iTMS works so well for me since I live in Japan.
Regarding paying for music, I have no problems with that, except I do enjoy listening to something before I buy it. Also, 5 dollar bargains mean nothing to me as I get paid in yen.
I aplologize for posting that itunes comment, but how am I supposed to know where you live. It would've been helpful if you said, 'Since i live in japan,...'. Anyway, I don't know about Japan, but most CD stores have listening booths so you can listen to your CD before you buy it. Aldo, $5 for Vienna Phil is a great deal. However, I do admit that getting all 9 by the BBC is a good deal too.
Apparently the server uses dominoes...

I think you just did spew forth a stupid useless opinion...

This guy did little more than put the $5 he found on the street in his pocket..
And got arrested for it? I think that analogy is a little too innocent.

Unfortunately the percussionists in the orchestra are the ones at the bottom of the totem pole.
Here in the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the principal timpanist is the 3rd highest paid person in the orchestra.
