It will be released simply "when it's done". No official video of the question asking process has been shown for almost 13 years, until Slashdot released this new teaser trailer, but the event will "submerge" yet again soon afterwards.
Examples given included bad code written in India and the communication problems with the Chinese and the Japanese because of their poor English skills.
I have sometimes wondered, as Asians are the top dogs in hi-tech and electronics, why is their English language skill so poor then? One could assume that they would push it more in schools, especially along engineering subjects.
Perhaps the real question here is why do people continue with Windows, when there are other options that have better general security?
Because in its current state Windows is secure enough. And after that, the other features matter more (all software and hardware works, it came preinstalled, etc).
Now you know how everyone else feels who tries to use Linux to get something to work and is told either to roll their own code or RTFM.
And even if you are a programmer and want to fix some random bug, it takes a lot of time to get familiar with that particular code, to set up a proper compile/test environment, etc. To me it seems that bug fixing is usually only viable to those who are the actual routined developers of the project in question.
Here's a link to the talk you are probably talking about (if someone wants to watch it). Google generally holds pretty interesting lectures, so people might wanna check the current AtGoogleTalks channel, too.
That's not a good argument. Why mock a company if it does not help you in some way? I bet there is an enormously long list of companies that you do not benefit from.
A opposed to fake earth grounded mains? Houses usually have a 2 metre earthing rod shoved in to the ground...
There is also a method where you dig a copper ring around the house. But yeah, I suppose there are differences by countries and buildings of how it is done.
The answer is quite definitely no, you can find Saami people pretty much only in the northern areas of Finland. They are sort of an "aboriginals" of Finland, a niche thing anyway. But you might find some Swedish cultural properties in Linus.
Sounds like Google would be well within their rights now to label Microsoft a spam network and ignore ALL future takedown requests.
While you are modded funny, and it is funny, but I still think it is also the right thing to do. If I had my company receiving random takedown requests which make no sense, why would we spend our workers' time going through them? We would just report Microsoft that we will get back to you once you start sending real takedown requests, and for now put all their stuff to the trash...I mean, Recycle Bin.
I run Win2k and Flash can't be upgraded any more anyway. And I use Acrobat 4. I don't want any later version. I don't want to be nagged to upgrade things. I know what I have and I know what I need.
Actually, when you look at the Archived Flash Player versions, it seems that the 10.x line (the last one compatible with Windows 2000) still gets some kind of minor updates.
SausageFS is my suggestion. Immediately gives a professional impression.
Yes, sir.

Meh. Don't be so mean.
Probably because people started to use this as a full Ubuntu system.
I should add that even without Facebook, I am doing pretty good so far. What am I missing?
An easy way to contact pretty much anyone in your vicinity.

Well *ahem* the solution obviously is to use the excellent Lulzbot AO-100 printer.

Not a surprise actually. While I myself like Unity, it is unfortunately quite resource-hungry.
I know about the new speedy release scheme, but how is it possible that version 16 is released when 15 is only at 15.0.1?
Agreed, if they ever would certify a 2D printer, I think that would certainly have to be one of the requirements.

The proper solution would be to the parents to control their youngsters' computer usage. After all you can get online with 3G anyway.
The W-iFi uses you to connect to the Internet.
+1 for this from me.
Yep. More accurately ei-pelaajahahmo.

"Official" here seems just to refer to that it actually has happened.
Actually you should say "Samsung-ssi" or "Samsung sunsengnim" in Korean. The -san is a Japanese thing. :)
