There was a big fuss about UV visible marks on tickets during the recent UEFA Champions League final. Real tickets had a UV visible mark on them so they could be identified as original tickets. If this technology gets into the hands of the public how could you tell between a real or counterfeit ticket?
Reminds me of that Simpsons quote:
Marge:I don't want a cellular transmitter sticking out of my roof.
OmniLady: We prefer to think of them as, "keep in touch towers."
I feel for you man... but I've recently signed with a couple of online movie stores once called http://thepiratebay.com/ and the other called http://isohunt.com./ Both of these stores are fantastic, not only was the sign up free but I can download all of their movies for free also! Choices? often I can decide if I want the high quality DVD version or a small version they seem to call a "Rip". They also don't have any DRM and I'm free to put it on my phone or iPod if I choose.

If you want the ease of use of MCE and don't want the fiddlyness of MythTV.
Try the open source Mediaportal: http://team-mediaportal.com/
They're certainly doing some interesting things over there and they are always open to suggestions/improvements.

You forgot the snake oil!
People need to think they have a choice for it to work.
Sounds like an interesting theory. But it would make me wonder who (or what) created the original beings?
Pfft... web 3.0... didn't you hear? It's all about Web 4.0 now - but I can't wait for 'Web XP Vista'.
