Vandals have what is known as sock-puppets, multiple accounts in order to vote several times. Obvious ones (such as those who voted in their first few edits) are caught, but there are much more sneaky ones. There was one such user who made over 12,000 edits before being banned as a sock puppet of another banned user, but most of the time, editing for a few weeks with another account will make a convincing sock puppet.
Willy on Wheels the Wiki vandal added these two now famous flamebaits about KDE and GNOME.
See here, it has now become common use in KDE/GNOME wars. Willy on Wheels used to follow the GNOME deveolpment process but after 2.8 it was clear they were clueless and even before then it was lame. KDE 3.5 forever (Whenever I am using linux at least), mostly running Windows XP now to concentrate other projects such as Wikipedia.

As an ex-vandal of Wikipedia, I see this is as bad news. First of all, it only takes a few minutes to create an account, so vandals can still create vandalism. Consider this, Wikipedia restricted page-moves from new users due to page moving vandals, but vandals just created accounts, left them to mature for a few weeks and still got through. It will stop idiots performing toolbar vandalism, but it won't stop the professionals.
To give an example, we had a user who created lots of new articles, then claimed he created lots of hoaxes. They banned him, but they still haven't repaired all the damage. There are over 12000 articles tagged for clean up, how many hoaxes are there? This list for example has tonnes of hoaxes, and they have been kept there for over a year!
The Willy on Wheeels is no longer a threat to the Wiki, entropy and admin ignorance is!
Many high profile people have had their pages vandalized. A while ago someone vandalized an article and it made news in norway. Wikipedia is getting bigger, and more and more articles are going to be vandalized, some people vandalize Wikipedia on purpose to get attention.
To the Wikipedians, you may have trapped my wheels, but you will never stop the mass collection of IP addresses already to edit pages with vandalism. Slashdot too, that's why you see stuff like Goatse.
Back before my local bus station was knocked down and re-built, it had a large AMD Athlon poster on one of the pillars, it was quite funny. There was also this lamp post somewhere which had a local video rental store sticker, offering to rent the post for 2.95 for 2 nights
The Willy on Wheels, the infamous Wikipedia vandal pioneered the use of high speed vandalism though Firefox. Using over 200 tabs on some occasions, the vandalism is natstrophic! Unfourtunatley, some moron called Curps closed off my tactic.
Simply click on this link, replace the contents of the text box with nonsense. You will soon get an annoying orange you have new messages box, containing a {{test}} code. Vandalize the person who gave you that, that will show them who is boss!
There are a lot of vandals sabotaging the project. Anyone can take a page and add grafiti over it. The move page function for example is widley abused, as anyone can move a page to nonsense names. You don't even have to edit wikipedia to vandalize it anymore, just register an account with a nonsense user name and you get your account banned.
Back in 2001, it was fun for creating graphics for my games I was developing. Of course I did not bother with it after the 30 day trial. This could be good, it will be a big step to putting the Linux desktop on wheels.
Yes Wikipedia gets a lot of vandalism. Many features of Wikipedia can be abused. I abused the move function of pages which got me blocked pretty quickly. I have countless imitators of my vandalism. They even implemented a page move restriction and move log to counter page move antics.
I have a 60GB ipod photo, and the screen is very small, just enough to view small thumbnails of my photos, but this nano appears to be too small to actually view anything. Expect this to fail hard and hopefully apple will next time to bring out the ipod jumbo.
I bought a PSP last saturday. It is great for watching videos and surfing the internet (you can even vandalize Wikipedia with it), but there are still better games out for the DS.
Many games just need the magic of the touch screen and the high vertical resolution of the DS. That little nub the psp has is pathetic for controling stuff.
Also lexar makes crap memory sticks so avoid.
So I own two DSs and one PSP, Ill keep the PSP for media but someone will have to bring out more innovative games for PSP before itbecomes my primary gaming machine.
As one of Wikipedias most well known vandals, and also one of its biggest fans, there is more need for better control, to make sure that Willy on Wheels is kept on his wheels.

You can get the session saver extention which allows you to open your previous tabs.
It is used for high speed vandalism of Wikipedia! Never under estimate the power of 200 tabs open.
