Ny idea would be to mod mac mini with linux and a add a load of ISO images for various linux distributions and people would just slot in an burn using a specialized GUI. Someone must be able to write a little program for this.
The competition in open source software is bitterly intense. What's to stop a bot being written to do en-masse bad ratings on a software that someone dosen't like?

I have been an avid user of php, I have even made my own website using PHP. It is so good that big sites such as mine use it. For all serious developers, PHP is the best choice for all php programming.
This is all just rumors to get Apple users upset. Its being going since the 1980's, and its never happened. The G5 is too much of an asset to dump for the hell that is the P4. Even diehard Windows users are all migrating to AMD64 these days, Intel is just trying to get some free advertising and FUD to play with.
It takes a while, but you really learn about the inners of Linux, and it will help you understand a lot. For anyone serious about being a Linux user, the LFS experience is mandatory.

Most Wikis have an NPOV policy. This wiki doesn't so is prone to abuse.
