Lots of my coworkers at Salesforce.com use standing desks. One example that comes to mind is someone who's had long term back problems. It's made a massive difference for him. Most people here can get them with manager approval and many could get them anyway.
But why do I keep having to remove line cards from an MLX-16 or PCIe cards...
You're right in some environments, but not all. And I'm not including anything as small as you're implying.
My main site is 492KB for the front page and all of it's content, including images. Any loads other than the first are around 42KB due to browser based caching.
Dr.Who: I can bring down your administration in one word.
Prime Minister: One word. Even you aren't capable of that.
Dr.Who: Okay, six words.
Dr.Who (wispers to aid): Don't you think she looks tired?
Sounds like the Aussies got it hard. First they get beatup by Kangroos. Then they have to call in their arm to take care of some frogs that were kicking their butts. Now their own courts are going to be bending them over. Poor bloaks

They usualy only track about 10% of traffic. They are also extreamly dificult to manage. Snort, Snort based, or Dragon IDSs are the only decent ones on the market.

Well, I started at a certin large security company at 18. I'm 19 now and still have coworkers at about the same level who are more than twice my age. I'm also quickly becoming more senior than a lot of the people here. Tho many of them have a lot more -real work- experence than me.

We did end up burying one when we finally stopped supporting them.
As someone who worked with the damn things way more than I care to admit, yes, you're 100% right.
Can't say that I did. Lol. Suppose I shouldn't be surprised though.
Dropped and broke a $40k USD Symantec Gateway Security Appliance
Back in high school I had a file server whose case was a cardboard box. Bob was a pretty great file server.

If they go ahead with this then my users will simply not be able to send email to hotmail users. I see no need to implment garbage.
