    You can move those back on the encrypted drive/folder with a simple link.

    ~/.cache/thumbnails -> ~/mnt/private/.thumbnails/

    apache/php/mysql in wsl works better than a wamp, git also better work on wls when ssh is in use than directly in windows. but a real ubuntu is way better!

    You can disable javascript per site with chrome, no addon required.

    In fact it's slower on Wayland than X. The CPU usage is kinda high for the process gnome-shell. I get excellent speed on the same machine with KDE (compositor enabled)

    No word on performance? Gnome 3.24 is so slow on my i5 with HD 4000 on wayland and xfree.
