ok..im starting to think that the MPAA/RIAA and now Bell run the United States Congress...they get bills passed that benefit ONLY them...they have laws written up JUST for them...and now they are going to start to tell you yanks that 'airwave internet' is ONLY for those who supply them and if you find one open its ILLEGAL to use it? so...lets say i find a $5 bill on the ground..is it illegal in the states to pick it up cause its legal tender and belongs to the treasury?

im sure Bushie would have stepped in and BANNED the movie just cause it doesnt agree with his opinions. Kinda like how the FCC is treating Howard on terrestrial radio.
I found the movie a total waste of time and it was worse than 'house of the dead'. the ONLY redeeming factor to the movie was the blood and that Stan Winston did the monsters. other than that, it was totally POOP. I'm glad that i saw it in the theatre for free, but I still wanted a refund for emotional damage and trauma. sigh. Im NOT looking forward to Halo..or any other video game movie anymore after this disgrace. How id could even ASSOCIATE their name with this POS, is beyond me.:P If i was a part of the id team, id be hiding/hanging my head in shame and renouncing that movie and distancing myself from it as far as possible.
In the thought that video games are responsible for any of our actions shows, to me, an emotional instability and lack of capability to understand that video games are NOT real life. To actually think that video games are actually capable of 'suggesting' even to us to 'control' our actions..shows that the individual was weak minded and highly succeptable to suggestion. It is up to us to decide what we are capable of and what we arent. If we are taught we can do whatever we want, with education that can be a powerful thing, but also if we are taught to obey and follow then I guess video games could be a very dangerous thing for one too. I have been playing FPS's since Wolf3D, and ive never gone out and wiped out a family of 6 yet, nor do i plan to. Ive actually just finished playing postal 2 and have the addon installed, so does this mean im going to run out to my local gunstore and lock and load? no. because i recognize and KNOW that video games are entertainment, this is the difference between myself and someone who cannot possibly make decisions for themselves. who NEEDS a 'figure/idea' to follow at all times. Id LOVE to do a case study on ppl who are similar to me, who have played these games ALL their life...and why i am different than the ones who cant differentiate apparently between reality/fantasy.
so...heres a question, whats the point to ranking this stuff? 'grandmaster' 'super grandmaster' ya know...it sounds like marketing to me more than anything...as is most things these days...how about 'some boob who doesnt get laid much and plays more chess than with himself'? id watch a match with a title like that...even for a laugh:D
